dear shiv bhakt

here are my three experiences:

1. once we have seen a huge black colour nag swimming in the seshnag

which was watched by thousands from around 1000 feet above the lake

level at which we were trekking for the amarnath shrine. so one can

guess the real size of that black nag. most of us clicked our cameras

and 100% pilgrims got these photos empty and not a single person got

the image captured in the camera till date.

2. another time, the same huge black colour nag was swimming in and out

of the water in the lake. this time also it was watched by thousands

but none could capture it in the camera.

3. this was the most holiest experience of all the three. one night on

the auspicious shravana poornima day i was sleeping inside the tent at

the base camp above the sheshnag lake. suddenly i heard chantings

of "om namah shivaya" and "harahara mahadev". i woke up and stepped

outside and it was a heavenly experience. thousands of pilgrims were

standing at the edge of the mountain to watch the sheshnage lake 1000

feet below. at that time the sheshnag was swimming from oneside of the

lake to the other side which took nearly two hours. at midnight on the

shravana poornima day, the naga mani on the sheshnag spread countless

sparkles of light from the reflection of full moon and the entire

valley was felt like lit with thousands of watts of lights. all the

pilgrims (thousands in number) kept chanting shiva mantras all these

two hours forgetting the minus temperature at midnight. thereafter

several shivbhakts including me kept singing bhajans of lord shiva for

two more hours and went to sleep around 2am. here too none of the

pilgrims got the photos captured.

in praise of lord shiva and with best wishes

arjun
