Guest guest
Dear Fellow Members Regarding the astrological relations between planets and different mukhi Rudraksha, I have not read all tantric and astrological books, nor all the Puranas. To be honest I am only repeating like a parrot what I have read by Rudraksha experts, and I have never questioned their conclusions, such as 1 mukhi=Sun, 2 mukhi=Moon, BUT, I would have thought that 3 mukhi represented Jupiter, whose cosmic number is 3. Instead the experts have listed in order of the week days rather than by cosmic number. If Rudraksha is listed by associated "number" then it would be, 1 mukhi=Sun, 2 mukhi=Moon, 3 mukhi=Jupiter, 4 mukhi=Rahu, 5 mukhi=Mercury, 6 mukhi=Venus, 7 mukhi=Ketu, 8 mukhi =Saturn, and 9 mukhi=Mars. Further, 10 mukhi=Sun, 11 mukhi=Moon, 12 mukhi=Jupiter, 13 mukhi=Rahu, 14 mukhi=Mercury, 15 mukhi=Venus, 16 mukhi=Ketu, 17 mukhi=Saturn, and 18 mukhi=Mars. But that is not what others have concluded. And I cannnot dispute anything about Rudraksha for want of knowledge. If they ever change the RR list to be as above, I'll be the first to accept it!!! Can you shed some light on the Planet-Rudraksha relationship and how it came to be? Guest guest
dear friend richard you are right in saying that we are yet to find references from holy scriptures attributing rudraksh to planets. however, various purans have already given lordships for each type of rudraksh. i did some research in this field and i recommend rudraksh based on the results attributed to the rudraksha and also based on the lordship of the rudraksha. also i found some people not getting favourable results with wearing ek mukh rudraksha both round and half-moon type. in shivapuran under vidveshvar samhita, it is written that ek mukh rudraksha shall be worshipped at the native's place. it is also written that where this is worshipped, goddess of wealth laxmi dwells there. it is further written in more clear terms that where this rudraksha is worshipped, that place would be free of all problems and all natives dwelling in that area would have all their desires fulfilled. with best wishes and regards arjun , Richard Shaw Brown <rsbj66 wrote: > > Dear Fellow Members > > Regarding the astrological relations between planets and different > mukhi Rudraksha, I have not read all tantric and astrological books, > nor all the Puranas. > > To be honest I am only repeating like a parrot what I have read by > Rudraksha experts, and I have never questioned their conclusions, such > as 1 mukhi=Sun, 2 mukhi=Moon, BUT, I would have thought that 3 mukhi > represented Jupiter, whose cosmic number is 3. Guest guest
Namaste Richard, Rudra is Mahakala, and the various types of Rudraksha are intimately connected with the 14 days of the lunar fortnight, which themselves are divided among the 7 solar lords of the week. Mahadeva!
Guest guest
Namaste Arjun, True ek-mukhi rudraksha are exceedingly rare, and very good duplicates are common! The half-moon type is very beautiful, but it is NOT a true rudraksha. ALL true rudraksha have a natural hole. Most 2-mukhi rudrakshas are not true rudrakshas; and Indian 3-mukhi rudrakshas are mostly obtained from a different tree. 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8-mukhi rudrakshas are readily available, but even the most common 5-mukhi rudraksha is sometimes faked! 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 (or more) mukhi rudraksha are available, but true ones are never spherical. All of the more valuable rudrakshas are very commonly faked, and some duplicates are very difficult to distinguish from the real thing (without destroying it!). Guest guest
dear brother giri om namo bhagawate rudraya you are speaking with people who have done decades of research first hand in rudraksha. if i have one decade experience, richard has two decades in rudraksha. anyway your views are welcome in sharing more about rudraksha. your pessimistic comments on fake rudraksha are a little aberration which shall be seen in isolation. if you need genuine rudraksha with 100% buyback guarantee if proved fake, you can contact me on my personal ID. now let me answer all your queries one by one: 1. round and little oval shaped genuine ek mukh rudraksha from himalayas and indonesia (not nepalese) are available easily from rs.5100 to rs.11000. 2. half-moon type ek mukh rudraksha are not mentioned in the purans for their shape/size but they too are genuine rudraksha. 3. the large size oval or diamond shaped two mukh rudraksh are cheaper and easily availble ones but they too are genuine. 4. the himalayan two mukh rudraksha, small size and little oval in shape are expensive and are genuine. 5. the nepalese genuine two mukh rudraksha costs anywhere above rupees ten thousand. 6. the indian three mukh rudraksha is genuine and you can see its trees even in haridwar. 7. nepalese three mukh are available plenty but are expensive. 8. all rudraksha from four to fourteen from nepal are available genuinely if procured from good sources. 9. there is no fixed sphere or shape for 9 and upwards and all shapes and sizes are available in genuine 9 to 14 and even upto 21. 10. one need not break a rudraksha and hurt its sanctity to know its genuinity. if you procure from a good source, you feel the positive vibrations within few days of wearing. please feel free to ask your doubts on rudraksha and we would be happy to clarify the same. with best wishes arjun , "Sarabhanga Giri" <sarabhanga wrote: > > Namaste Arjun, > > True ek-mukhi rudraksha are exceedingly rare, and very good duplicates > are common!
