Niyama), then you can attain Samadhi without steps 3-7 (Asana, Pranayama,

Pratyahara, Dharana and Dhyana). Kundalini can be awakened by the practice of

Asan, Pranayam, Mudras, Japa and by the grace of God /Guru. If you become

absolutely desireless, if the Vasanas are destroyed in toto, Kundalini will

ascend by itself without any effort, through the force of purity. Kundalini

will drop down by itself through the force of Prarabdha. It will stop at each

Chakra by itself. You need not exert to fix it anywhere. It is better you stay

under the proper guidance of a Yogi Guru to learn all these Yogic mysteries and

secrets, but if you have unconditional devotion towards Lord Siva then He will

take care of you (there is no God/ Guru above the Supreme Lord Siva). Try to

get ethical perfection before you attempt to awaken the

Kundalini and take it to Sahasrara. When you are in the path and when you are

sincerely doing Sadhana or Yogic practices, you yourself will know how to take

the Kundalini from one Chakra to another. Any Sadhana, properly done, will

awaken the Kundalini. Kundalini can be awakened through Bhakti, through the

grace of the Guru, through the constant practice of Karma Yoga, through

Vedantic Sadhana and through meditation. Through total self-surrender to the

Lord and by becoming completely desireless. Bhakti Yoga combined with selfless

service, is the best Yoga for this age. You will get the Lord’s Grace, and with

His Grace, His divine Sakti will flow into you. What can you not achieve through

that? (this question raised by Sri Adi Sankarachara) . Please note carefully

that if you awake Kundalini by the practice of Asan, Pranayam, Mudras, then you

should have an expert Guru by your side to practice Kundalini Yoga. Otherwise

this will lead to all kinds of complications and there are plenty of people who

have had adverse results. “God is both within and without. From within He

creates the various states of mind. After Kundalini passing through the six

centres, the jiva goes beyond the realm

of maya and becomes united with the Supreme Soul. This is the vision of God.”

“The Kundalini is speedily awakened if one follows the path of Bhakti. God

cannot be seen unless She is awakened.”

--------Sri Ramakrishna Tirumantiram (verse 719): Kundalini Yoga Turns

the Body into Temple of Siva The Kundalini Sakti that thus aroseMade her way

aloft through the fleshly coilAnd yet within me remained; And She who created

the worlds of DevasChurned the mystic ambrosia within;Drinking deep of itThis

body became Siva's temple.

yes"> -----Rishi Tirumular Commentary: Kundalini yoga turns the body into a

temple of Siva, i.e Siva comes to dwell there. Rishi Tirumular message that

Kundalini turns the Body into a temple is a very vital one and has had very

fruitful outcome in Temple Art, whose basic design resembles the pathway to the

Garbhagraha (the main Deity’s room), which corresponds to the position of the

heart of the human body. A typical Hindu temple is really the projection of

our body and mind. In a big South Indian Saivite Hindu temple, the huge tower

represents the mind, you could see many dolls of gods and demons all over it,

this represents good and evil thoughts in our mind. The tower gate is our

mouth. Just after the tower gate you could see a tall pillar, this is called

Flag tree, but it actually represents the Spinal column (spine), you could see

32 marks: our spine is formed of a series of 32 bones called vertebrae. During

festival season, a flag of the deity will be raised at the top of the tree

(represents Sahasrara) and from there a white rope goes round the 32 marks to

the bottom of the tree, this represents Sushumna nadi (through which Kundalini

travels up during

Spiritual progress). There are six special rooms in a temple, representing

six Chakras, Muladhara, Svadhishthana, Manipura, Anahata, Vishuddha and Ajna.

The main deity is dark in colour and there is no sunlight could enter the room.

The room represents our heart and the deity represents our inner True Self

–Atman (which is identical to Siva -Paramatman). The dark colour represents we

couldn't see God due to Avidya and the lamp in the room (you can't really see

the deity without it) represents we need to kindle the lamp of True Knowledge

(Jnana - Divine Wisdom) in our heart to reunite with Siva. Tirumantiram

(verse 1823): Soul is Siva Linga For the Bounteous Lord This heart is the

sanctum holy, The fleshly body is temple vast The mouth is the tower gate; To

them that discern, Jiva is Sivalinga; The deceptive senses but the lights that

illumine.

yes"> ------- Rishi Tirumular Commentary: This fleshly

body is a unique temple; the mouth is its tower gate; and the heart is the holy

sanctum for the Bounteous Lord. For those who can vision, jiva is the Siva

linga, and the senses the illuminating lamp. Sivaya Namah b_jamnadas

you familiar with Kundalini Yoga, pranayam or meditation? I have been reading

but never before made any comments. From your postings I get an impression that

you are a person of much knowledge. If you have any knowledge in any of the

subjects I have mentioned above, I would appreciate if you could email me. I

need some guidance in these matters...or even atleast one of the 3 above.I

eagerly await your response.Sincerely,Bhupendra.
