Guest guest
experience can be described as Jiva (soul-body) realising Siva.I have been in a different kind of Samadhi after that. In this state, your mind will turn inwards and absorbes itself in Sivam (Formless aspect of Lord Siva) in your heart. This state is not as Blissful as Savikalpa Samadhi, I was above body-consciousness in this state (could not feel any hunger, thirsty, etc) for about a month, I was unaware of how time passed, days and nights just passed like dream, I was nearly free from Maya, I was able to hear AUM keep beeping, I could not worship properly, although this state was very peaceful, I did not like about the fact that I could not continue with my daily worship. 2. Can you (the 'person' who is identified in the world as'Selvaratnam Selvakumar') manifest the experience at will? Implied isalso the question: do you still experience individuality. Yes Lord Siva has left some individuality. My ego has become deeply changed after the experience and it’s totally under control. If ego is completely destroyed you can’t really live in the world and carry out worldly activity. I wouldn’t be able to answer your questions (who is asking who? and who is answering who?) if I don’t have any ego. But when I go into Samadhi the ego vanishes and hence no-duality. 3. How has the quality of your meditation deepened since that event in 2000? black">To tell you the truth, I hardy did any meditation prior to my experience, but after this my mind has had natural tendency to go into Samadhi state. Lord Siva is the Supreme Yogi, if His Grace descends upon you, you can reach the top level without much effort. 4. How centred and surrendered to Grace do you feel in your day-to-day events? I am in Siva and Siva is in me, and yet He has left some Individuality (ego) so that I can worship Him and to do other worldly activities. What ever happens to me in the external world does not really affect my inner peace. My mind does not wonder here and there much (after useless worldly things or momentary sensory pleasures), so I always feel blessed. 5. Are you a family person? If so, how has all this affected your wife and children? No, I am a Brahmachari and will be forever, Lord Siva’s Grace blessed me with this experience when I was 23. My mind has established its centre in Sivam in my heart (Formless aspect of Lord Siva). Lord Siva has freed me from Lust and other harmful qualities that binds a soul and drowns into the ocean of death (samsara) 'Courier New'">. I do have a responsibility look after my mother, when she passes away, if Lord Siva permits me, I would like to go on a continuous pilgrimage to Temples (serve Him and His devotees) until my mortal coil drops off.
