wrote: Sh. Ramachandra,With all due respect to the versions given by honourable

members ofthe group, It is felt that the following matter may be of some

value. The Almighty, Lord Shiva is "Nirgun, Niraakaar, and Sarvaataryaami".God

can only know to bless and protect people who believe him and prayhim. There is

no reason to get a bad or unwanted experience when oneis praying with all

dedication. It does not matter whether you arechanting a mantra or just taking

his name or repeating a merenumerical in his name.In our life when one starts a

new routine there would be expectation, this expectation makes one to look at the

happennings with great careand in a magnifying manner. If a desirerable effects

results, oneattributes it to the efforts put farward till then. If an

unwantedthing happens it is attributed to the

efforts made. It is the state ofmind but not the result of the prayers. Please

drive away such feelings The Almighty is a positive energy andPositiveforce

having nil percentgae of any negativity.Regarding worship, there are in

numerable "mantras" available fromVedas, Puranaas. One should select the mantra

appealing and comfortgiving while chanting. It shall give a pleasant feeling.

Some likessingle word mantras, the other an eloborated procedure with

Mantra. Both are right in their place as the one selected is giving

asatisfactory feeling after chanting it.All the best,AUM Nanah ShivayaOn
