Guest guest
I had the blessing to perform Pujas, cleaning temples, lamps, gather flowers, serving devotees and singing Bhajans. The first spiritual experience I had once I was performing arathi to Mother Durga, I felt like an electric current passes from feet to the head three times, I didn’t know what it was at that time. I came to the black; FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt">UK in 1989 (I was 13 years old) and I have continued with my service to the Lord and His devotees in a nearby temple, I get my true happiness by doing this. I love performing Siva Puja twice a day in my home shrine, doing Om Namah Sivaya Japa, singing devotional poems written by great Saivite saints, listing to devotional songs, fasting, reading lives of devotees of Lord Siva and Scriptures, attending temples. I don't feel the need to spend much time doing meditation, as Mother Kundalini nursing me like a mother does to her new born baby. She is preparing me for higher spiritual life; I can observe that internal spiritual transformation happening, my mind becoming one pointed, She keeps consciousness of my mind between physical and spiritual (double-consciousness), so that I can do worldly activities and at the same time partially immerse in Sivanandam (Bliss). I am not after ANY supernatural powers, all I am after is , pure, unalloyed, ETHERNAL and overflowing devotion unto Lord Siva. To tell you the truth I am not after Ultimate Liberation, I know that the direct way to attain Ultimate Liberation is to destroy the ego by attaining Jnana (Divine Wisdom) by the Grace of Lord Siva. As far as I am concern, all the souls can eventually achieve Ultimate Liberation, but only a few will qualify to become an eternal servant of Lord Siva (Like Sri Nandi ). I actually saw in my vision how Sri Nandi ( with divine-body form) serving His beloved Lord , this has deeply inspired me, Sri Nandi is a Great Maharishi himself. You might say Lord Siva’s Divine-Form is maya , Saivite Saints/Sages say: Sivam + Sakti = Lord Siva (Personnel God with Form) Lord Siva – Sakti = Sivam (Impersonal Formless God) Sivam = Static Aspect of the Supreme God Sakti = Dynamic Aspect of the Supreme God So Formless God (Sivam) become Isvara (Supreme ruler of the Universe- with Form) with the aid of His inseparable Power Sakti. The Veda says, the process of Creation, Preservation and Destruction is eternal, so there must be an eternal Isvara. Many Saivite saints suggest entering the Siva-Joyti Space (Kailasa) as an ideal goal. The Supreme Consciousness world (Kailsa/ Siva-Loka) is referred by Rishi Tirumular (a direct disciple of Lord Siva) as Suddha Maya (Pure Spirit) Sphere, he describes Antarloka as Asuddha Maya (impure Spirit) Sphere and the Earth as Prakriti Maya Sphere. Roman"> Ramana Maharishi never denied the existence of Isvara (Lord Siva) or Kailasa. His teaching is direct, results in realising Sivam (Impersonal Fomless God, i.e all pervading Supreme Being - I) but is also very difficult path. Sri Ramakrishna says that in order to practice Jnana yoga, one must renounce the world both internally and externally. Ramana Maharishi himself set a perfect example for his followers. Ramana Maharishi says that his teaching is not meant for immature souls because it might put them off from spiritual practices (i.e they might thing I am God anyway and what is the point of doing sadhana). I have done extensive reading of Hindu Scriptures AFTER my spiritual experience ( prior to this I hardy knew anything, I only knew lives of Saivite saints, devotional songs, how to perform Pujas and serve devotees), it was blessing of Lord Siva that some days before Kundalini awakening , I accidently saw Sayings of Sri Ramakrishna book in a Bookshop, I bought it and from his teaching I came to know something called Kundalini exist, when Kundalini awakened I couldn't withstand the heat, I first thought I was suffering from high fever, so I went to see a doctor and I was told that my body temperature was fine but my skin was hot, the only advice I received was, drink plenty of water. I then went and read the book and I totally convinced that it must be due to awakening of Kundalini, I always regard Sri Ramakrishna as my Guru because I felt as if he was right next to me and guided me. I have read the Brama Sutras recently, this scripture focus on enquiry into the nature of God and it says that leaving the body at the time of death via the door of Brahmarandhra one attains moksa by entering the Divine world, but Sri Adi Sankara refuted this and in his commentary to the Brama Sutras, he said as long as you have a body, then you can't be Ultimately Liberated because body is a limitation, in the divine world one has to have a divine-body and divine ego, so you can only attain karma-mukti by entering this world and futher sadhana is necessary for the Ultimate Liberation (i.e even this ego need to be dissolved). I totally agree with his conclusion. Having said this, I have no objection to have a divine-body and serve Lord Siva in Kailasa, I have a deep desire to serve Lord Siva forever. This is my Goal if Lord Siva's Grace grant me this boon. Guest guest
Sir, You have the dear blessings of Lord Shiva.. my suggestion is donot have an imaginary goal - like - divine body..Kailash..etc.. Just concentrate on the goal of serving Shiva..period.. how..when..is not to be pondered/believed..for then it becomes a manifestation.. Do we know where Hanumanji is currently ?..He is doing bhakti for Lord..in form..and that is it..how..when were never defined for him.. Having any verbal..or visionary goal will manifest if you so desire.. BUT Still.. when the mind is at still..and if you re-read your written email..in a state when even the bhakti or devotion is not there..no feelings..you will find a different answer..and a different goal..try it.. sometimes..i hesitate to write..for i have been told that i write too much about self experiences and not on Shiva..and for the fear of being taken as egoist..so pardon me.. Actually..we have undergone countless births - if we believe in Atman and Parmatman ...there is no dirth of seekers and what they sought..along with the innumerous paths.. i am only a small fry in the kitchen..but feel at times..that may be we are trying to reach non-duality from duality..what if this foundation is wrong..may be the path is that I AM SHIVA and all duality originates from ME.. Shivoham..Shivoham ?? Baki.. Saab Gorakh ki Maya.. May Lord Shiva bless us all anil
