Guest guest
Dear Ajay ji Thank u for the message, Question: I would like to know if i can use a bead of mercury i have along with my rudraksha mala. What are the positive effects of this combination? Answer: Yes you can add mercury bead to your present mala. Parad (mercury bead) is the combination of Mercury and Silver. Parad is the most auspicious metal used for worship of God. Parad is believed to be originated from the sperms of Lord Shiva.Benefits of parad are Cure of all diseases, Increase the will power etc. Due to their magnetic properties the Rudraksha beads initiate and effect positive change in the Human Body. It is believed that the Rudraksha beads are the original beads of Power. They have been used for thousands of years for Self Empowerment. Rudraksha beads are believed to have electromagnetic powers.Research in this field has provided ample evidence that wearing Rudraksha has controlled: a. Blood Pressure and Palpitations b. Stress c. Anxiety and Depression d. Lack of Concentration. It is also said that Rudraksh prevents untimely death and the bearer will always be protected from any type of accidents, bad luck, problems etc. Question: Also i request you to detail on the benefits of ganesh rudraksha -4&5 mukhis. People say that Ganesh rudraksha is alternate to 8 mukhi is it true. Pls enlighten me sir Answer: Rudraksha beads are a gift from the Almighty God . It has been proved that Rudraksha beads have electromagnetic properties and that they affect the human body when worn on the skin. 4 Mukhi Bead Its ruling planet is Mercury. This represents God Brahma. The wearer gains power of knowledge ,learning and creativity, when blessed. Very effective for students, scientists, researchers, scholars, artists, writers, and journalists. Increases memory power, wit and intelligence. This Rudraksha is also used for curing diseases of gall bladder, mental ailments, paralysis and diseases of nose. If three beads of four- faced Rudraksha are fastened on the right hand, no body can stand to face the wearer. Those engaged in any type of business will also find it useful as it improves knowledge and helps in concentration. 5 Mukhi Bead Its ruling planet is Jupiter. This is blessed by Lord Shiva as Kalagni Rudra. The wearer of five mukhi mala gains health and peace. Five mukhi rudraksha monitors blood pressure and cardiac ailments. Five mukhi mala is also used for Japa. By wearing the mala the wearers mind remains peaceful. There is no suspicion about the fact that the wearer of Five faced Rudraksha never gets untimely death. Five Mukhi raw beads(which have not received any treatment of of color or oil) are used by soaking in water overnight and then drinking this water on an empty stomach next day morning. The beads are then dried and used again the following day. This has been found useful for blood pressure, diabetes and stomach disorders. Ganesh Rudraksha Ganesh Rudraksha bears a Trunk-like elevation as is seen on the face of Lord Ganesha, the son of Lord Shiva. Ganesha, the elephant-headed God of success and overcoming obstacles, is also associated with wisdom, learning, prudence, and power. He gives 'Riddhi-Siddhi'. He is the first to be worshipped in the beginning of any auspicious occasion. Ganesh Rudraksha provides the wearer perfection in every sphere in life and the grace of Lord Ganesha is received by him. The Ganesh Rudraksha Bead is really special due to the way it grows thorny protrusions on the outer surface of the bead. Regarding ganesh bead alternative to 8 mukhi,i cannot comment on this because my knowledge is limited, Sri Arjun ji or Sri chandrashekhar phadake can help you in this regard. Guest guest
Dear friend You are absolutely right in raising the point that Mercury is highly toxic to human body and hence should not be used. Even the small traces of mercury, if ingested over a period of time, can lead to some very severe mental and physical disabilities. However the way traditional Indian 'Parad' articles for religious ceremonies are made is that mercury is mixed with silver which forms a stable enough alloy to form articles out of it. The articles made this way and used as specified in the traditional texts have no known adverse effect on the human body. I guess the key here is to follow the traditional paths and not to go beyond, and try out new, to what is prescribed in texts. Mercury is not known to do extensive damage through the skin. It is only when it is ingested in regular quantities that it is harmful to the human body. Therefore in some scriptures it is advised to wear the beads made out of the mercury-silver alloy. I am not a doctor but to my knowledge, this form of use of mercury alloy where it only touches the skin, is not known to have any known adverse effects. Maybe a traditionally trained and qualified doctor in this group ought to give their input on this matter. Guest guest
is advised to keep away from mercury and lead. There are strict safety regulations imposed worldwide in research laboratories for the disposal of mercury and mercury compounds. Mercury in its pure form and mercury compounds are not allowed to dispose off in the drain. As far as possible, use of mercury and its compounds in the laboratory is prevented. It is totally banned in many laboratories. Mercury compounds if used in the laboratory as exception, are collected seperately and then disposed off by other scientific means. We Hindus have a custom to take 'Teertham' after Pooja. It is advisable not to keep any mercury idols in your pooja altar. Teertha of mercury idols is highly toxic. If any body is interested, one can do internet search about mercury toxicity. In fact, I am of the opinion that government should put legal restrictions for selling mercury items.
