Guest guest Posted December 18, 2005 Report Share Posted December 18, 2005 We have Six "chakras / padmas" in our body with the exception of the final and Ultimate "Chakra / Padma" i.e. "Sahasrara Kamal" The "yogic" energy is in dormant state at "Mooladhara Padma" at coccyx. During the meditation, one receives "Prana" otherwise called "Cosmic / Reiki" energy from cosmos. This Cosmic energy is responsible for raising "Kundalini" from its dormant state and makes it to travel in upward direction. While it travels up, it has to pass through six Chakras and three "Grandhis", the nodal points. During its travel it excites one of the chakras more than the other, resulting attainment of "Siddhi". "Siddhi" varies from person to person, to fulfill the task for which one liberated from "Paramatman" as "Atman" and born on this holy Earth (Bhu maata). The Fourth Chakra from "Moola Dhara" is "Anahata". "Anahata" means which emits sound without being struck by any thing. If any one hears Sound it is from "Anahata Padma" Or otherwise "Anahata" is getting excited. It is important that one should keep it growing to get its full bloom. The great "Sidha Purush" like Goutam Buddha/ Vardhaman Mahaveer" were said to be achieved this chakras full excitation at their initial stages of their "Sadhana". "Annahatam yachchbhdam Tasya Sabhdhsya Yatparam I Tatparm Vindateyasthu Sayogi Bhinna Samsayah" II Anahat is 12 petal led Lotus. Responsible Goddes for it is "Raakini". "Anahata" belogs to element "Air" in "Pancha Dhatu". It manifests in letters from "Ka" to "Thatha" as pronounced in "Raveendranath thagur". The "Beejakshar" for this "Chakra" is "Yammm".
