Namaste all. _/\_

Enjoyed reading good informative post about 'Rudraksha beads'.

Here is an image of Lord Shiva in tears of Bliss:

The great Shiva-bhakta, Saint-Poet Bhartrihari wrote in his prayers:

sphuratsphAra jyotsnA dhavalita tale kvApi puline

sukhAsInAH zAnta dhvaniSu rajanIsu dyu saritaH |

bhavAbhogodvignAH ziva ziva zivet yucca vacasaH

kadA yAsyAmo 'ntargata bahula bASpAkula dazAm? ||85||

Comfortably seated in peaceful posture, somewhere

on the blessed banks of the celestial river Ganges,

during the nights which shine with the pure white

glow of the brightly diffused cool moonlight,

when all sounds are stilled into blissful silence,

and fearful of the pleasures of the transmigration,

when shall we have our eyes filled with copious tears arising

out of divine ecstasy while crying aloud "Shiva! Shiva! Shiva!"?

Does the question ever occured to devotees on Whose blissful

meditation Lord Shiva is overwhelmed in Divine ecstasy?

Its amazing that the tears of His Love have become such a

powerful, auspicious symbols of His devotion for his devotees.

Lord Shiva Himself revealed His Object of meditation to His Consort

Parvati and His devotion to Lord Rama is well expressed in this verse-

"zrIrAma rAma rAmeti rame rAme manorame

sahasra nAma tattulyaM rAma nAma varAnane"

Shivji is telling His beautiful Lady, devi Parvati,

that He is always enjoying the bliss of chanting the Name -

"Sri Rama... Sri Rama... Rama... " which even equals to

chanting one thousand Names of Lord Vishnu.

"haste 'kSa mAlA hRdi kRSNa tattvaM

jihvAgra bhAge vara rAma mantraM

yan mastake kezava pAda tirthaM

zivaM 'mahA bhAgavatAM' namAmi"

Adi Jagadguru Sri Shankara Bhagavatpada prayed:

I salute to Lord Shiva, the Supreme Devotee, (Maha Bhagavata)

in Whose hand is the a-ksha (A to Z) garland of beads,

in Whose heart is the reservoir of Divine essence of Lord Krishna,

on Whose tongue is ever residing the Name of His Beloved Rama,

on Whose head is ever flowing sacred water that washes the

lotus-feet of Lord Keshava.

Also in 'Gopala Sahasra Namam', Lord Shiva again declares the secret

to His Spouse and requests Her not to reveal it to non-devotees.

BVP, Narada Pancharatras and a few other Tantras have given wonderful

Prayers to Vaishnavas for the meditation of Sri Radha Krishna through

the medium of Lord Shiva's instructions as Sri Guru.

Prayer to Lord Shiva:

jagadguro namastubhyaM

zivAya zivadAya ca

yogIndrANAm ca yogIndra

gurUNAM gurave namaH

"Salutations unto Thee, O Spiritual Master of the universe.

Thou art the Lord auspicious and the Giver of Divine bliss,

the foremost of the perfect Yogis, the Teacher of all teachers.

Salutations unto Thee."
