Guest guest
Shiva has a very strong effect for production of peace in the mind and enviroment. Shiva is very busy for the last year especially. Many groups now regularly are doing Rudrabhiskeka, especially at the Jyotirlingas, and so also just by wearing rudraksha some enviroment of peace is created. Jaya Rudraya! - Deva Pillay Thursday, March 13, 2003 10:57 AM Rudraksha Beads Hi I am Deva from Mauritius and I am new to this group though I have been reading your messages for the last 2 weeks. Since Monday I am wearing a synergistic combination of Rudraksa beads of 7Mukhi, 9 Mukhi and 11 Mukhi plus an Ajna Chakra 14 Mukhi bead. In fact it all started less tban 3 weeks ago. I don't know why or how but I was looking for a rudraksha mala at the market in Mauritius and the funny thing is that I did not know anything regarding Rudraksha beads. Then some days after, I was already in bed and suddenly I had a feeling to search for Rudraksha on the internet and the first website I entered was rudraksha-ratna. I have got so much knowledge from this site. Then I contacted Neetaji for more information and she advised me on the synergistic combination according to my Vedic astrology. But I was so attracted by the 14 Mukhi that I ordered it also as I could not resist it. Well doing "Divine" business with Neetaji was a great pleasure, I am so pleased with the services offered by the centre, its rapidity in delivering the beads and above all the quality of the beads. Rudraksha Beads entered my life just like that. I knew nothing abouy them, I have never read anything about them before some days ago, It just came to me on its own. In fact, the only thing I know is that for the last 2 months, I have been doing tratak on and off on the picture of a guru, Swami Nikhileshwaranand, to open my third eye and I was always fascinated and attracted by some beads he was wearing in his arms amd around his neck. And I can say that I am blessed because the instinct for wearing Rudraksa happened in the week of Shivaratri. Wow I am so attracted by these divine beads and so happy of wearing them. Guest guest
Namaste Jorge, Not sure if I understand your question correctly.. so please pardon my ignorance if you find my answer silly: I believe that rudraksha work with our individual "body" frequencies. If you are asking about oiling the beads..that seems to be an individual preference..Some people do so once a month..I do when the beads seem dry..much depends on the humidity where you live... Guest guest
Namaste Jorge & Friends, Lol...! Silly old me! Read your question and then Sis Kantiji's reply to you and realised I "read" your message wrong. I thought it meant something else so my response may sound very weird, sorry Jorge. Sis Kanti is right about humidity and oiling intervals being individual preference. For examply I live in a part of Australia where the beads never seem to dry up during winter but they become very thirsty during summer in which case the beads are oiled every 3 weeks or a month. Guest guest
Dear Mr. Lada, Your Rudraksha bead may be a 3 mukhi sandy white bead. I have experienced this in case of the above bead. If you have used any copper wires for beading purpose, oxidation of copper and its reaction with body moisture and sweating may form copper sulphate which is blueish green in colour. Thanking you and with best wishes. Chandrashekhar Phadke "Baines, Lada AVED:EX" <Lada.Baines wrote: A little off base, however, I have a question. I wondered about it (in the dream and out), and thought I would ask members on this list if there was such a thing. Guest guest
Lakshmiji, According to Rudraksha Jabala Upanishad; Lord Shiva closed his eyes for the sake of destroying the Tripura Asuras, from his from his eyelids; water dropped down and attained the state of immobility for blessing the devoted persons. These drops of tears turned into Rudrakshas. As per another school of thought, an asura chief was mighty and valiant with name Tripura who defeated the Devas (gods). The Devas (gods) were very grieved and went to Shiva. Then Shiva thought for a while, on how to kill Tripura. With open eyes, he sat for a thousand divine years or thirty-six lakh human years. After this prolonged length of time, Shiva winked his eyes and tears fell from them. The rudraksha tree grew from these tears. Rudra means Shiva Aksha signifies eyes. The Sanskrit meaning for Rud means tear. Thus, the name of Rudraksha is derived from the meaning of the Tears of Lord Shiva. Twelve types of rudraksha came into being from the Sun, and from Moon emerged sixteen kinds of rudraksha and finally from the Fire came ten kinds of rudraksha. Those, which originated from the Sun, are of blood colour, those from the Moon are white and those from the Fire are black. Among Rudrakshas, one as big as Amalaka (myrobalan) is considered the best. One as big as the Badari fruit (Indian berry) is considered to be of the middle sort. Rudraksha of size as big as Chana (Bengal gram) is considered the worst of all. The following is a depicts different faces of Rudrakshas as per Jabala Upanishad Faces Effect of wearing representing God 1. Supreme Truth Attainment of Eternity Shiva 2.
