Guest guest
Dear Anil, Sai Ram. Who is seeing the world as an illusion? If this question is pursued, one sees that there is really no contradiction in both the statements. Let us look at this from the point of view of physics. The so called solid is made of a lrge number of atoms. Each atom is made of electrons, protons and neutrons. These particles are also not really fundamental. They are made of quarks etc. And what are those quarks made up of? Energy in the final analysis. Thus all matter is condensed energy. So, waht appears as a solid is not a solid at all. And under the right conditions, matter and energy keep getting transformed from one state into another, just like water boils into steam or solidifies into ice. So, looking at the world from a narrow perspective causes illusion. At the same time, is there anything in this Universe which is not created by God? So, is everything not divine? What is clear is that both the statements mean one thing only and that is to see God everywhere and in everything and to realise that the sense of differentiation or duality (that I am separate from the rest of the God created world) is a delusion created by Ajnan. Guest guest
Namaste Anilji and Swamyji. Nice explanation from Swamy. An electric fan has three, maybe four wings. When you switch it on, the wings revolve and make continuous impressions of the retina of the eyes. Up to 1550 impressions the eyes can see the separate blades. Beyond this point, what we see is only a revolving, circular disc, but we KNOW that this impression is not the fan. In the same way, everything that we see in the configurational or objective world are only deceptive impressions. They appear real, and thus constitute maya. Kanchi Paramacharya has said that maya is not unreal like the horn of a rabbit, but seems to exist like a mirage. While the term Adyanta Asat indicates that which is not existent, the term Pradipasika Satyam indicates that which seems to exist. Understanding even intellectually that everything Here, Hereafter and in Eternity is enery and consciousness at different levels of manifestation helps us to relate better to our Self and God.
