ShivaAll souls would like to unite with Siva, that is the nature. We have just

lost with the soul, we don't know how to listen to it. So we try everything to

attain peace and happiness but can think of material pursuits to be the only

way for peace and happiness. When a sould decides to take birth from a certain

mother, it has it's own progess in mind and un-fufilled wishes from previous

birth. It has to fulfill those wishes and to progress towards the path of union

with Siva, it has to start shedding sins of past life. So our souls decides to

take a body in a family that will best allow it to achieve it's goals.

Once the living beings in this Universe gradually decline in numbner of billions

and billions of years, what the point of empty planets? Similarly as long as the

body does not know how to listen to the jiva, how does the jiva get what it

wants. Siva has pity on these Jiva and eventually cleanses these Jivas of past

sins that's when disasters happen and people on mass die at the time of final

dissolution. This is how I believe it to be.As to when will Siva decide to

restart the Universe....I don't even know how my day will be tomorrow, I or

nobody knows this., Divakara

ShivaVery nicely said, Please allow me to add a couple of sentences,When we

raise a ball above the ground (prithvi tattva) and let go, it falls down - that

is the law of karma. Dharma on the contrary is that which upholds everything and

sustains (everything). If and when you lift the Atma up, it never ever falls, -

Does it?Aum..., "b_jamnadas"
