Guest guest
Sh. Divakar, Lord Shiva is often Misunderstood or misinterpreted that He is a terminator. In reality He is responsible for granting liberation to us. He destroys the bodies of persons i.e. Physical body (Sthoola Sareer), Subtle body (Sookshma Sareer) and Casual body (Karan Sareer) to liberate the self. However it is interpreted as Lord Shiva is terminator. (Please refer Shivanada Lahari) Regarding your second question, we need to discuss a little more. It is said that the soul is refered to as "self". Self before entering in to universe will come with a definite purpose. It said it even selects the environment, parents etcetera. Up to the age of seven it remembers its aim and source. The mind starts developing and gets full maturity at the age of fourteen. It discrimination gets fully developed at the age of twenty one. From the age of eight onwards if the self is not focusing on its aim and gets drifted due to neighboring influences, it loses its track. That is why the philosophy of every religion teaches us to try for self realization ("know thy self"). This means to keep one in the track to accomplish the goal what for the self arrived on to the holy Earth (Prithvi). If one dies without fulfilling the goal, the silver chord which connects the body with the self disconnects, the self will be moving around like chord less kite, till it attains the rebirth. Lord Shiva during meditation pours cosmic energy and awakens Kundalini Shakti and keeps the self aware of his goal. He helps the self in achieving the goal. Thus he liberates the self and merges with him. What happens in meditation? Everyone gets cosmic energy during sleep. This cosmic energy is responsible for performing activities like Seeing, Hearing, Talking, etc; if this energy is inadequate; it develops patches in the body at various places. These patches are responsible for getting diseases. However during meditation self gets mores cosmic energy. This energy flows through 72000 Nadees in the body and starts cleansing. More and more Cosmic energy gathered during meditation clears the patches to make the body healthy. By continuing the meditation the etheric body experiences movements. This some times experiences to and fro motions, up and down movements and revolving around itself. Finally it comes out of the body. It is connected with the body with a chord called silver chord. Body communicates with it and vice versa. For it there is no limitation of planes of the universe. It travels all over and gets knowledge to accomplish it goal. After accomplishing the goal, it transforms in to a bright light and merges with the source. Aum Namah Shivay KS Rao, Navi Mumbai Cell: 93242 94531 Divakara < div_tan to om_namah_shiva. Nov 3 (1 day ago) I have some philosopical questions if any one wants to answer. Why does Rudra wants to destroy the world? Why do all souls and energy have to merge with shiva? Why and When will shiva decide to recreate the universe again?
Guest guest
Sh KS Rao, Great Explanation, very enlightening, Thank you. it raised a few more questions and please explain when you find time. 1. How do we realize our life's Goal. In this fast world we are running after so many illusions, knowing pretty well that they are illusions, but we cannot stop, atleast I am, how do I know my life's purpose. 2. Is Etheric body the real body? I mean the soul. Om Mani Padhme Hum, Thanks, Divakar. --- KS Rao <kasturisrao wrote: > Sh.
