Guest guest
I feel so much peace in being meditative state all the time, i feel inside a chanting of Om namah Shivaya namah om or some other mantra..this keeps on going..the only thing which gives me internal peace and in being with self is above state..about 10 days back..while i was chanting MMJ..for 1/2 day i was in a state that i saw Brahma in each and everything..feeling faded on its own the way it came..for the first time in my life..but i want to be in state for ever.. But i have a problem.. and that is.. being in a job.. how can i all the time remain in a no- mind state where self arises..? What to do when the spirituality becomes an obsession for a person who must fulfill the duty/responsibilities towards family, job and other worldly activities..?? i get irritation when i am distracted from meditative state.. kindly help regards anil
Guest guest
Dear Shri Anilji, please accept my respectful pranams! I bow to the Brahman in you! It is a bliss to be in that state. However you need to control the bliss since you are in Grihastram. I remember my very good brother Shree Ram told me to get advice from a Guru, who can help one to control the mind and bring it under our control. If you are married and have children you have to accomplish those tasks first. I have learnt that our jiva karma period is broken into three, Brahama bhaga where we learn, etc. Vishnu bhaga where we raise family, suppor them etc. then comes Rudra bhaga where we go for seeking Brahman etc. So if you are in the family way do your Vishnu karma and then after that you do full time spiritual progress. I used to ask Lord SadhaShiva in the Shiva linga to help me with this. It took me sometime but now I am over it. Lord Shiva will help you, keep praying him and one day you will realise it. Guest guest
Dear Anil, I feel the responsibilities come first. If you have people depending on you, you have to fulfil their priorities first. If you fail in this you will not be able to get peace or face god. There is no spiritual activity greater than carrying responsibility, fulfil them and see the kind of permanant peace you get. I can say this is the shortcut to god. God has given you some responsibilities to fulfil so give first priority to that. remember duty is divine, yes you can continue your spiritual journey in paralllal, use this spiritual energy to spread good and peace around. It is very difficult to juggle both activities but Lord Shiva will give you strength to do it. REgards, Om namah shivaya Divakar. --- anil <anil_bindal2000 wrote: > I feel so much peace in being meditative state all > the time, i feel inside a chanting of > Om namah Shivaya namah om or some other mantra..this > keeps on going..the only > thing which gives me internal peace and in being > with self is above state..about 10 > days back..while i was chanting MMJ..for 1/2 day i > was in a state that i saw Brahma in > each and everything..feeling faded on its own the > way it came..for the first time in my > life..but i want to be in state for ever.. > > But i have a problem.. and that is.. being in a > job.. how can i all the time remain in a no- > mind state where self arises..? > > What to do when the spirituality becomes an > obsession for a person who must fulfill > the duty/responsibilities towards family, job and > other worldly activities..?? > > i get irritation when i am distracted from > meditative state.. > > kindly help > > regards > anil > > > > > > > > Mail - PC Magazine Editors' Choice 2005
Guest guest
Hi Anil, Very nice experiences you are having. State of "no-mind" is probably the best thing to happen even if you are working. I know you are not convinced about it, but that could be because what I perceive as "no mind" is not what you perceive. "No mind" does not make you a zombie, it rather makes you very "centered". probably best state for both material and spiritual world. About how to balance spiritual practices with worldly duties, pray to Lord Shiva to help you strike a balance. Pray for His Grace. He will work it for you. Have that faith. Irritation is good. make it work for you, let it goad you to pray and surrender to Him for getting His Grace quickly! I pray for your well-being in the journey and beyond. Jai Ma! Guest guest
Sh Anil, You are lucky enough and blessed by the Lord to have "Saakshatkar of Brahman". It is a great event and was possible with your great dedication and belief. This group is lucky to have a member like you. It is believed that with out fulfilling ones responsibilities one cannot get this enjoyment continuously. For getting "Deeksha" as "Sanyasi" or to renounce the world one need permission from parents, especially from mother or from wife if married. Please do not get disappointed or vexed up with this statement made here. One thing is for sure that your "Kundalini Shakti" was awakened. It is a good sign of progress in Spiritual Avenues. You may continue your japa as you do without neglecting your basic duties and responsibilities (What is expected from you as a Son or Father or Husband). In addition to your morning meditation you may do it before you go to sleep too. You may be destined to help the society with added blessings from Lord. I regret very much if I hurt you in any way. Guest guest
Anil Ji Absolutely agree with sh KS Rao. The state of meditation that you have attained is the result of a continuous journey of your soul. However as has been commanded by Lord Krishna in Srimad Bagwatam, you must put your worldly duties before your pleasures. I can somewhat relate to you (although am not willing to go beyond this mention as every experience is unique and specific to each and every soul), however this is yet again a pleasure that you were destined to achieve. All I am able to provide you with is that slowly over the course of time if you continue over your path with the same level of devotion as you have until now, the answers will come from within. The good Lord has opened your path for you and only with His grace you will learn (in due course of time) to achieve the balance in a manner that is right for you. However be assured that the path open to you would be the right path for you and you would be able to recognise it when the time comes. Apologies for somewhat garbled message but some things go beyond the linguistic abilities of us mere mortals and we need to remain within our boundaries. God bless and keep faith in the one that has given you this immense source of pleasure. Kind regards Anand [] On Behalf Of KS Rao 17 October 2005 17:01 Re: How to decide Sh Anil, You are lucky enough and blessed by the Lord to have "Saakshatkar of Brahman". I am a hanuman bhakt and as per doha -- sri guru charan saroj raj, nij manu mukuru sudhaar..treat Hanuman ji as my Guru.. Till 2 months back i had no shradha bhav for Shivji..until..i was introduced to MMJ by someone..i always worshipped Lord Krishna for mukti..I only pray for my incessant shraddha which is never interrupted..not for any material gains.. It is the divine grace of Lord Shiva who has ordered me to worship Him now.. I bow to all that is i am all that is.. On Thursdays, there is a Sadhu who visits my parental home in Delhi ( i am based in gurgaon )..who when visits our house says .. Saab Gorakh ki Maya ji...and now i understand him.. By His grace, i want to wear Rudraksh..and this craving has become a compassion ... but i donot know which one i should wear for the state i am in .. to bring a balance of mind between spirituality and materality.. and then to gain wisdowm of soul for Samsara=Nirvana.. for reference.. my DOB is 8th Nov 1963, 07:38 am ..delhi..male With so many wishes in this group, and by divine grace, i am sure i will evolve further.. However i have a confusion which i would like learned masters in this group to clarify ... I am caught in conflict .. and that is.. How should i view this world for performing duties ? As an illusion ? but this makes me indifferent to the world.. an escapee.. Guest guest
Dear Shri Anil please accept my respectful pranams! The Shri Krishna in me bows to the Lord Shiva in you!!! Jai Mahadeva This bhoomi is a Karma bhoomi and not a mrityu bhoomi or yogi bhoomi. Your realization path is that you are Sri Shiva and HE is worshipping HIMSELF. Think this way. For the Shiva in you is trying to reach the Sadha Shiva. You have to do your karama's, becoming a yogi is an escapism for you will be tormented in not completing your karamas in Grihastra nor in Spritual World. Karma Karo Shri Anil!!! and this is the only way to Mukthi in Kali Yuga. Develop Bhakthi and concentrate on the Bhakthi maarga only. If you meet that Yogi ask HIM to give a mantra upadesha which Matha Shree Raja Rajeshwari gave to Lord Shiva to control the desire and anger, anger that comes out of Frustrations in not able to complete the karma. HE will give that to you...chant that always for you will realize that it is a web of karamas and illusions. Then the conciousness in you will be under the control of the Lord Shiva in you! Guest guest
The definite sign of a spiritually minded person is his silent, tolerant attitude. Bees, until they have found the flower and tasted the honey, make a loud, buzzing noise; but the moment they taste the honey, they become absorbed and cease to make a sound. So it is with us. Before we find the truth, we argue and dispute and challenge others who differ from us; but when we come in contact with something deeper, we grow silent and do not try to force it on other minds. We try to live it in our own life inevitably it reaches other lives.Spiritual qualities are infectious just as evil qualities are. One bad person can drag down many others by his evil propensities; while those who have noble ideals and loving characters uplift others merely by their silent influence. When we study external conditions, it is sometimes very discouraging to see how slowly this influence works; but it can never fail absolutely. And if we wish to produce a lasting effect on any character, it is better not to have it work too quickly. When we set fire to hay, it makes a tremendous blaze, then in a moment it is all over; while a log fire, which takes a long time to kindle, burns steadily and is dependable. Similarly in spiritual awakening, if the person is over- enthusiastic and emotionally excited, he exhausts his forces and the effect wears off. If, on the contrary, his deeper nature is touched, it may not show outwardly, but the result endures. Limit yourself to observing. Take in everything that comes to your awareness whether big, small, trite or ordinary. Content of awareness is less important than the quality of awareness.
