Guest guest
om namo bhagawate rudraya firstly thank you very much sharing your knowledge with your brothers and sisters. even though i agree with your observation of banning deer skin and prohibition of its use, it is still a matter of religious belief and people do not kill the animals to use it. in olden days, the ashrams of rishis used to feed and shelter such deers and when they die naturally, their skins are used. they were never killed for using as an asana for sadhana. In kanpur and agra, several leather factories exist who use leathern obtained from dead animals. this also reminds me of how siyar singhi (jackal's hood) is also traded by several tantric stores and websites because of its miraculous mystical powers. many modern people are amazed as to how its hair keep on growing on its own. it is obtained only after its death. Similarly cat's umbilical chord is also used for gaining immense wealth. there are many lucky charms and tantric items which are used quite generally by thousands of people across the country which are proved beneficial. ethically also it is no wrong in using an animal skin if it is procured after the animal's natural death. we all use woollen shawls in winter, as the wool is taken out of the animals without killing them. for sadhana, tiger skin is the best, deer skin is better, darbha asana is good and if nothing is available, a red cloth is also good. in praise of lord shiva arjun chandrashekhar phadake <c_phadake > wrote: Dear sister Ms. Laletha, Trade of skins of all wild animals are banned under the wild life protection act 1972. Licence is required for such animal skins, horns etc. even if it is a ancestral property. The licence is issued by the concerned state forest department. It is extremely difficult to get licence for such item. To keep and to trade animal skins, horns, nails is a non bailable crime in India. In fact, one should not use animal skins in sadhana since, these are obtained by killing the animal. Adding further to this even one should not use silk since hundreds of tiny beautiful silk worms are killed to extract the silk. It is always better to use 'Darbha Asana' and plain white cotton clothing for sadhana. Thanking you and with best wishes, Chandrashekhar PhadkeLG <lagan29 (AT) (DOT) co.in> wrote: dear arjun ji i would like to know if it is possible to get deer skin for sadhana from which place and how much does it cost. i would like to go to kashi. i have heard that most of the items required for pooja can be obtained there. can u tell me the names of shops u are aware of and generally purchase your requirement from? regards lalethaaarjun pandit <panditarjun2004 > wrote: Dear friend for concentration in sadhana, wearing of a three mukh rudraksh mala is ideal as lord shiva says in shiva puran that the wearer gets the result of sadhana and learns all vidyas. i have been supplying rudraksh for quite some time procured from the himalayas which i visit every month and my prices are just to recover my costs and expenses and are around 50% of what is listed in most rudraksh selling sites on the net. i have also supplied 14 mukh rudraksh to some fellow astrologers which develops the third eye and the sixth sense works so great that the wearer can foresee and foretell everything. the 14 mukh rudraksh is worshipped in the pooja place and is worn on the forehead only while doing meditation. for sadhana or meditation, sitting on a darbha mat is good, a deer skin is better and tiger skin is the best but is difficult to get. meditation on such skin would help you develop more concentration and the entire energy created or developed by you in meditation stays within you and builds an aura. . with best wishes arjunb_jamnadas <b_jamnadas (AT) (DOT) ca> wrote: Hello,I am a devotee of shiva as well, my problem though is that whenever I sit to do my sadhana, I am not able to do 1 very important and basic thing...maintain concentration. I never realise when my mind has drifted to other thoughts. I have no control over it and eventually, when I complete my sadhana, I feel very unsatisfied and extremely angry at myself, and very dis-spirited as well. I do not know what to do!BJ--- In , arjun pandit <panditarjun2004> wrote:> dear friend das> > om namo bhagavate rudraya> > this group named after the lord of all gods rudra (form of shiva) is a good platform to sing his songs, praise his glory, share knowledge on his stories and also share members expeirences. as regards you interest in knowing my experiences with lord shiva are concerned, i can only advise that they can only be felt and not described. i do upasana of shiva, kaali and saravana.> > lord shiva is known for his equal benevolence on all devotees alike be it devatas or rakshasas. so chant shiva round the clock and remember him even in your dreams and you too would see him sooner in various manifestations.> > in praise of lord shiva> arjun> > > b_jamnadas <b_jamnadas> wrote:> Hello,> > You claim to have seen different manifestations of Lord Shiva.
