Guest guest
Yoga is a flame of knowledge that penitrates the veil of Ignorance, which make us belive ( Cosmic illusion due to magic of name & form)that we are seperate from Oneness, ( Consciousness) due to shift in identification from Self( Truth, Independent existance) to non-self ( world, which is reflection of truth within itself & is dependable existance & also perishes in relam of time, spave & causation). Yogi knows truth as there is no seperation. Yoga is termed as the union of Atman & Brahman. Question arises, are they separated in first place? Vedanta says, There is no separation" Consciousness is all there is" There is one existance! That’s mean "Consciousness is all that exists" Yoga is actually the realization that Atman & Brahman were never separate & the separation was mere illusion of mind. Once this Illusion fades away, the illusory "me" & "mine" which is forms the veil of ignorance makes Atman & Brahman appear separate. This can be understood well by following example Let us consider the forms of water. Water in a semi-frozen form is partly in the form of liquid water, and partly in the form of ice. Both the water and the ice still consists of hydrogen and oxygen (H20), and the chemical composition, or substance, of each has not been changed even though they appear in a different form. So to conclude, its actually the knowledge that there is no Separation & Atman & Brahman were always one. Sometime we forget things & that in no sense mean the absence of them. For e.g.-Sometimes we raise our goggles on our forehead and forget it, & thereby start searching it here & there. Deer searches its own musk in the grass outside, not knowing it’s within itself. We normally say, what a good sunrise, even after knowing that sun neither rises, nor sets, its earth that rotates around the sun. Like Air inside the pot & out side is same; the oneness of Atman & Brahman is ever present reality.Brahman as one truth & Atman as another i'snt possible as Truth is one & there cant be two truths at one time. When false identification of self as mere body-mind is gone & its replaced with expansion of consciousness from Individual to universal; Self shines effortlessly.
