Guest guest
for concentration in sadhana, wearing of a three mukh rudraksh mala is ideal as lord shiva says in shiva puran that the wearer gets the result of sadhana and learns all vidyas. i have been supplying rudraksh for quite some time procured from the himalayas which i visit every month and my prices are just to recover my costs and expenses and are around 50% of what is listed in most rudraksh selling sites on the net. i have also supplied 14 mukh rudraksh to some fellow astrologers which develops the third eye and the sixth sense works so great that the wearer can foresee and foretell everything. the 14 mukh rudraksh is worshipped in the pooja place and is worn on the forehead only while doing meditation. for sadhana or meditation, sitting on a darbha mat is good, a deer skin is better and tiger skin is the best but is difficult to get. meditation on such skin would help you develop more concentration and the entire energy created or developed by you in meditation stays within you and builds an aura. . with best wishes arjunb_jamnadas <b_jamnadas (AT) (DOT) ca> wrote: Hello,I am a devotee of shiva as well, my problem though is that whenever I sit to do my sadhana, I am not able to do 1 very important and basic thing...maintain concentration. Guest guest
Rudraksha is treated as a sacred fruit in Shaivism. It is a fruit of the plant species Elaeocarpus angustifolius. However, now a days fruits of other species under the genus Elaeocarpus are also considered as Rudraksha in general. In Shiva Purana rudraksha only upto 14 mukhis have been mentioned. There is no mention of Gauri Shankar, Ganesh and other morphological variants of rudrakshas. Botanically, rudraksha upto 24 mukhi are known however, few of the collectors and traders have collected rudraksha upto 34 mukhi. Rudraksha can be worn by any body from any religion, caste and gender. It is for the benefit of the mankind. It is mentioned in the literature that one should not use alchohol or eat non vegetarian food while doing Sadhana. However, personally I am of the opinion that choice of food is totally depend on the geographical regions and your body requirement. In few of the Shaivaite practices non vegetarian food is not banned to worship the Lord Shiva. For eg. Shaivism adopted by Kashmiri Pandits. Non vegetarian food is commonly taken (almost daily) by Kashmiri Pandits though they are Shaivaites. Personally I am of the opinion that one can remove rudraksha mala while taking non vegetarian food. I also use rudraksha and take non vegetarian food. However, while taking non vegetarian food I remove my rudrakshas for a day. Other than non-veg food, it is also mentioned that one should not take garlic and onion while doing Sadhana. I do not understand the logic behind this. We all know that garlic and onion has excellect antibiotic and other medicinal properties. Few people claim that garlic and onion as the ingradients of 'Tamas Ahar (diet)' and it increases sexual vigour. I do not understand the obstacle of sexual vigour in any sadhana. It is a part of any body's healthy mental life and should not be treated as bad for sadhana. A question comes to my mind, are all those people who talk about tamas ahar and about obstacle of sexual vigour in Sadhana are unmarried (bachelors or spinsters) ? As far as non vegetarian food is concerned, it is true that red meat is hazardous to human health due to more contents of saturated fats resulting in increasing the level of blood Cholesterol. Similar is the case of eggs. However, there are many beneficial effects of fish as a food, especially of marine fish for human health. It contains Omega 3 fatty acids which is a health promoting factor. This fatty acid is useful for excellent health of arteries, heart and brain. In limited amount non veg food is essential for human health due to high protein content and for better haemoglobin percentage in your blood. For doing Sadhana basically purity of mind is very essential. If we try to do Sadhana and hate other religions, other caste people (lower castes) and to some extent ladies, then all so called Sadhana is all in vain. It becomes useless. One should not follow any rituals blindly. Thanking you and with best wishes, Chandrashekhar Phadkenari khemlani <narikhemlani (AT) (DOT) co.in> wrote: dear sir ihave heard so much about ruderaksh and i dobelive in ruderaksh and i do wear my self some timeago but not know ,every body who sales them will tellyou what benefit try differrent mukhs, now there isone magazine in india called sadhna siddhi vigyanthey talk about them and once said that any one whodrink alchol and non vegetirian ruderaksh will notwork for them what is yourb opinion--- arjun pandit <panditarjun2004 > wrote:> Dear friend> > for concentration in sadhana, wearing of a three> mukh rudraksh mala is ideal as lord shiva says in> shiva puran that the wearer gets the result of> sadhana and learns all vidyas. i have been> supplying rudraksh for quite some time procured from> the himalayas which i visit every month and my> prices are just to recover my costs and expenses and> are around 50% of what is listed in most rudraksh> selling sites on the net. i have also supplied 14> mukh rudraksh to some fellow astrologers which> develops the third eye and the sixth sense works so> great that the wearer can foresee and foretell> everything. the 14 mukh rudraksh is worshipped in> the pooja place and is worn on the forehead only> while doing meditation.> > for sadhana or meditation, sitting on a darbha mat> is good, a deer skin is better and tiger skin is the> best but is difficult to get. meditation on such> skin would help you develop more concentration and> the entire energy created or developed by you in> meditation stays within you and builds an aura. .> > with best wishes> arjun> > b_jamnadas <b_jamnadas (AT) (DOT) ca> wrote:> Hello,> > I am a devotee of shiva as well, my problem though> is that whenever > I sit to do my sadhana, I am not able to do 1 very> important and > basic thing...maintain concentration. Guest guest
I dont understand why deer skin is needed for sadhana, you need a clean heart and sincere efort to do sadhana, sadhana should be selfless and giving not taking the life of a deer and using its skin. how will you feel if deer wants your skin to do its sadhana? it is possible as it also has life. --- LG <lagan29 wrote: > dear arjun ji > > i would like to know if it is possible to get deer > skin for sadhana from which place and how much does > it cost. > > i would like to go to kashi. i have heard that most > of the items required for pooja can be obtained > there. can u tell me the names of shops u are aware > of and generally purchase your requirement from? > > regards > > lalethaa > > arjun pandit <panditarjun2004 wrote: > Dear friend > > for concentration in sadhana, wearing of a three > mukh rudraksh mala is ideal as lord shiva says in > shiva puran that the wearer gets the result of > sadhana and learns all vidyas. i have been > supplying rudraksh for quite some time procured from > the himalayas which i visit every month and my > prices are just to recover my costs and expenses and > are around 50% of what is listed in most rudraksh > selling sites on the net. i have also supplied 14 > mukh rudraksh to some fellow astrologers which > develops the third eye and the sixth sense works so > great that the wearer can foresee and foretell > everything. the 14 mukh rudraksh is worshipped in > the pooja place and is worn on the forehead only > while doing meditation. > > for sadhana or meditation, sitting on a darbha mat > is good, a deer skin is better and tiger skin is the > best but is difficult to get. meditation on such > skin would help you develop more concentration and > the entire energy created or developed by you in > meditation stays within you and builds an aura. . > > with best wishes > arjun > > b_jamnadas <b_jamna> wrote: > Hello, > > I am a devotee of shiva as well, my problem though > is that whenever > I sit to do my sadhana, I am not able to do 1 very > important and > basic thing...maintain concentration. Guest guest
i thank you for your reply. the use of deer / tiger skin for sadhana has been going on for time immemorial. great Rishis and Saints, name anybody- Shri Sheshadri Swami, Shri Raghavendra Swami,Bhagavan Ramana , even Adi Shankara Bhagavatpada who is Lord Shiva himself have used it, kind sir. meditation on such skin helps to develop more concentration and the entire energy created or developed by us in the process stays within us and builds an aura. but now there is a ban on the usage of such articles .with all the rules and regulations it is not easy to get one. so dharba mats are used , though not a subsitute, but considered very good. As far as my skin is concerned, this peice of shit called lalethaa is nothing but C,N,O etc which after cremation can accomodate a 1mm cube. i do not think im worthy of such an honour. besides i am not thick skinned regards Divakara Tanjore <div_tan > wrote: I dont understand why deer skin is needed for sadhana, you need a clean heart and sincere efort to dosadhana, sadhana should be selfless and giving nottaking the life of a deer and using its skin.how will you feel if deer wants your skin to do itssadhana? it is possible as it also has life.--- LG <lagan29 (AT) (DOT) co.in> wrote:> dear arjun ji> > i would like to know if it is possible to get deer> skin for sadhana from which place and how much does> it cost.> > i would like to go to kashi. i have heard that most> of the items required for pooja can be obtained> there. can u tell me the names of shops u are aware> of and generally purchase your requirement from?> > regards> > lalethaa> > arjun pandit <panditarjun2004 > wrote:> Dear friend> > for concentration in sadhana, wearing of a three> mukh rudraksh mala is ideal as lord shiva says in> shiva puran that the wearer gets the result of> sadhana and learns all vidyas. i have been> supplying rudraksh for quite some time procured from> the himalayas which i visit every month and my> prices are just to recover my costs and expenses and> are around 50% of what is listed in most rudraksh> selling sites on the net. i have also supplied 14> mukh rudraksh to some fellow astrologers which> develops the third eye and the sixth sense works so> great that the wearer can foresee and foretell> everything. the 14 mukh rudraksh is worshipped in> the pooja place and is worn on the forehead only> while doing meditation.> > for sadhana or meditation, sitting on a darbha mat> is good, a deer skin is better and tiger skin is the> best but is difficult to get. meditation on such> skin would help you develop more concentration and> the entire energy created or developed by you in> meditation stays within you and builds an aura. .> > with best wishes> arjun> > b_jamnadas <b_jamnadas (AT) (DOT) ca> wrote:> Hello,> > I am a devotee of shiva as well, my problem though> is that whenever > I sit to do my sadhana, I am not able to do 1 very> important and > basic thing...maintain concentration. Guest guest
Trade of skins of all wild animals are banned under the wild life protection act 1972. Licence is required for such animal skins, horns etc. even if it is a ancestral property. The licence is issued by the concerned state forest department. It is extremely difficult to get licence for such item. To keep and to trade animal skins, horns, nails is a non bailable crime in India. In fact, one should not use animal skins in sadhana since, these are obtained by killing the animal. Adding further to this even one should not use silk since hundreds of tiny beautiful silk worms are killed to extract the silk. It is always better to use 'Darbha Asana' and plain white cotton clothing for sadhana. Thanking you and with best wishes, Chandrashekhar PhadkeLG <lagan29 (AT) (DOT) co.in> wrote: dear arjun ji i would like to know if it is possible to get deer skin for sadhana from which place and how much does it cost. i would like to go to kashi. i have heard that most of the items required for pooja can be obtained there. can u tell me the names of shops u are aware of and generally purchase your requirement from? regards lalethaaarjun pandit <panditarjun2004 > wrote: Dear friend for concentration in sadhana, wearing of a three mukh rudraksh mala is ideal as lord shiva says in shiva puran that the wearer gets the result of sadhana and learns all vidyas. i have been supplying rudraksh for quite some time procured from the himalayas which i visit every month and my prices are just to recover my costs and expenses and are around 50% of what is listed in most rudraksh selling sites on the net. i have also supplied 14 mukh rudraksh to some fellow astrologers which develops the third eye and the sixth sense works so great that the wearer can foresee and foretell everything. the 14 mukh rudraksh is worshipped in the pooja place and is worn on the forehead only while doing meditation. for sadhana or meditation, sitting on a darbha mat is good, a deer skin is better and tiger skin is the best but is difficult to get. meditation on such skin would help you develop more concentration and the entire energy created or developed by you in meditation stays within you and builds an aura. . with best wishes arjunb_jamnadas <b_jamnadas (AT) (DOT) ca> wrote: Hello,I am a devotee of shiva as well, my problem though is that whenever I sit to do my sadhana, I am not able to do 1 very important and basic thing...maintain concentration. Guest guest
Dear Laletha, Deer is a beautiful, harmless and humble animal, we have to protect it as we protect cows, I dont know about who all used deer skin, but what is the use of the energy you are talking about if it comes from taking a life of innocent animal. More over spiritualism is about love personal sacrifice and giving, please think over it in a peaceful manner, we have no right to take some life just for the sake of our use whether it is animal or a human. Guest guest
Hello Arjun, Do you personally have had any expereince with 3 mukh rudraksha? Whjat is the cost of this rudraksha? I have read in Siva-Purana if wearing a rudraksha mala around the neck, it needs to have 108 rudraksha beads. And in any case, a lot of this ancient science doesn't seem to be showing the kind of results that are promised. Take for instance the Sri-Yantra. I had it installed at home by a pundit(a lot of people just buy it and keep it in a worship place), but inspire of being properly installed, nearly 8 months now and no result, I have been looking for a better job and no luck so far...in fact no luck at all on the financial front. BJ , arjun pandit <panditarjun2004> wrote: > Dear friend > > for concentration in sadhana, wearing of a three mukh rudraksh mala is ideal as lord shiva says in shiva puran that the wearer gets the result of sadhana and learns all vidyas. i have been supplying rudraksh for quite some time procured from the himalayas which i visit every month and my prices are just to recover my costs and expenses and are around 50% of what is listed in most rudraksh selling sites on the net. i have also supplied 14 mukh rudraksh to some fellow astrologers which develops the third eye and the sixth sense works so great that the wearer can foresee and foretell everything. the 14 mukh rudraksh is worshipped in the pooja place and is worn on the forehead only while doing meditation. > > for sadhana or meditation, sitting on a darbha mat is good, a deer skin is better and tiger skin is the best but is difficult to get. meditation on such skin would help you develop more concentration and the entire energy created or developed by you in meditation stays within you and builds an aura. . > > with best wishes > arjun > > b_jamnadas <b_jamnadas> wrote: > Hello, > > I am a devotee of shiva as well, my problem though is that whenever > I sit to do my sadhana, I am not able to do 1 very important and > basic thing...maintain concentration. Guest guest
This may be a cliched question, but cant resist asking.... Is there something that is called Ekamukha Rudraksha? -- I have seen a few in ISKON center (Hyd). Some say it is rare and costs a fortune but I found them aplenty and were affordable. How do you determine if the Rudraksha is real one or not? Any info is welcome in this regard. wishes Anil Prasad-- ~~~~ www.anilprasad.com
Guest guest
Dear Anil, you can easily identify a rudraksha by sensing it or its energy by touching, seeing and feeling it. Physically, A good rudraksha will have clear mukhi demarcation, you can easily find the mukhis, it will have protrutions somewhat like thorns. By holding the rudraksha in your plam you will feel the energy, and if you feel the energy and like the feeling that is the right rudraksha for you, this is the best way to select rudrakshas. Also there is this website www.rudraksha-ratna.com, where you will get valuable information on rudrakshas. Om namah Shivaya, Best Regards, Divakar. --- Anil Kurnool <akurnool wrote: > Hi Group, > This may be a cliched question, but cant resist > asking.... > Is there something that is called Ekamukha > Rudraksha? -- I have seen a few > in ISKON center (Hyd). Guest guest
Dear friend 3 Mukhi Rudraksha Bead is Known to be one of the most powerful Rudraksha for stopping all problems created in the past and existing in the present moment and about to take place in the Future. This Rudraksha Bead combined with appropriate Mantras helps to dramatically change a persons life for the better in the 40 days it takes to complete an initial Mantra Discipline. The 3 Mukhi Rudraksha Bead is a life saver. Quoting the following from the information referenced in the Highly Auspicious Book titled RUDRAKSA - Properties and Biomedical Implications by Mr. Subas Rai. In the SIVA PURANA Vidyesvara Samhita Translated by Shastri 1973 Suta said Rudraksa is a favorite bead of Siva. It is highly sanctifying. It removes all sins by sight, contact and japas SIVA said If a man is not liberated after Meditation and acquisition of Knowledge, he shall wear Rudraksha. He shall be freed from all sins and attain the highest goal. A Rudraksha of 3 Faces always bestows means of enjoyment. As a result of its power all lores become firmly established. O daughter of king of mountains thus I have explained to you the different types of Rudraksas based on the number of faces. Please listen to the mantras with devotion Klim...Obessiance...3 Faced Rudraksha Bead In the PADMA PURANA Chapter 57 Translated by Bhatta 1989 THE LORD Said The one with three mouths is Fire Himself; the sin earned in the past births of him on whom it remains is burnt as fire burns fuel. A wise man obtains that fruit which is obtained by worshipping Fire or by rites of honoring Fire or by offering the oblation of ghee; and also obtains heaven. He who wears a Rudraksa of three mouths on his body is like Brahma on the earth. It would burn all the sins due to wicked deeds collected in birth after birth. There would be not disease in his belly; he would not be sick. He is never defeated, and his house is not burnt by fire. These and all other fruits are obtained and destructive weapons also are warded off. Nothing inauspicious happens due to wearing of Rudraksa of three mouths i.e. when a Rudraksa of three mouths is worn on one's person. In the RUDRAKSAJABALOPANISAD KALAGNI RUDRA replied The one with three faces is Fire Himself, which on wearing pleases all the three Fire deities. In the Introduction Section of the Book RUDRAKSA Planetary Correlations and Astrological Implications of Rudraksa are detailed as follows -: Three Mukhi =========== Its ruling planet is Mars, which astrologically represents fire. This planet governs blood, head, neck, ears, testis, bone marrow, genital organs, kidney, red blood corpuscles ( RBC ) Vitamin K. This mukhi is supposed to cure diseases such as, blood defect, plague, small pox, blood pressure, weakness, bone fracture, disturbed menstrual cycle, spontaneous abortion, ulcer, wounds, etc. caused by the malefic effects of Mars. In the Book Gems and Rudraksha by Mr. Anil Gupta he describes the Values and Merits of the 3 Mukhi Rudraksha Bead as follows Three Faced Rudraksha has three natural lines. Its ruling planet is Mars and it is the symbol of god Agni ( fire ). The Agni ( fire ) purifies every thing in the same way, the wearer of 3 Faced Rudraksha gets rid of the sins that he had done in his past life and returns to the purely true life. It is the best for those who have fallen prey to inferiority complex or fear stricken and suffer from self hatred or mental strain. In a short time after wearing it, the wearer feels its influence by attaining success in his efforts, favorable means, learning and knowledge. Its another best virtue is that it makes the wearer free from chronic fever certainly. Modern physicists and allopathic doctors accept that the patient of the fever that comes after every 3 days, is cured. It contains the Trinity of gods Brahma and Vishnu and Mahesh and the trinity of Gunaas Sattva and Rajas and Tamas and the three spheres The Sky The Earth and The Paatal with their divine powers. For its divine powers this bead is the most sacred and powerful and the best. Hope this helps Om namah shivaya
Guest guest
Hello Kasturi, Have you had any personal experience of wearing a 3 faced rudraksha?...or do you know of any person who this rudraksha has benefitted? The reason for this inquiry is that our scriptures provide knowledge of a lot of things like yantras, gems etc that are supposed to make life easy or bearable, but none seem to work, like the example I gave of Sri-Yantra. Have we lost the knowledge or procedures for dealing with these holy articles? Guest guest
Dear BJ, I am not sure if the 3-mukhi rudraksha that I am wearing now is energised as I bought it in a exhibition in hyderabad, at that time Iam not very knowledgeble with rudrakshas as I am now. But one thing I personally believe is we have to believe our instincts more in these matters, as it is the voice of devine inside us, I did my own energizing by offering the rudraksha to Lord Shiva, who is the supreme energy, I believe we can directly connect to the supreme Lord, even if the procedure is wrong the Lord and his angels will correct us. yes if possible it is good to buy energised rudrakahsas, and the site http://www.rudraksha-ratna.com/ sells pure and energised rudraksjas, I have brought a lot of them from them and they are very good and highly reliable. also you can join the which has highly knowledgeble and sincere people who will advise on rudrakshas. Om nanah shivaya, Best Regards, Divakar. --- b_jamnadas <b_jamna> wrote: > Hello Mr. Divakar, > > Do you know if this is an energized Rudraksha?
