Guest guest
Namaste all, Guru means the one who dispels darkness by illumining the knowledge of Oneness & one existance & thereby removing ignorance of disciple & making him aware of his/her true nature, there is no seperateness; and the seperateness that we experience is divine game ( Leela) of Name & Form ( Maya) the sum total of time, space & causation. Its rare to find a true guru these days, lets hear directly from the Realised Ones, what they say about who is a real Guru? "How can one know whether a particular individual is competent to be a Guru?" Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi: "By the peace of mind found in his presence and by the sense of respect you feel for him." "How can I make out whom to follow and whom to mistrust?" Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj: "Mistrust all until you are convinced. The true guru will never humiliate you nor will he estrange you from yourself. He will constantly bring you back to the fact of your inherent perfection and encourage you to seek within. He knows you need nothing, not even him, and is never tired of reminding you" God Bless one & all! Virag. May all live in peace & harmony of thoughts & actions. Consciousness is all there is! Guest guest
according to people who study past lives and pshysics we all have spirit gurus who try to communicate to us through our thoughts, dreams and conscious, it is up to us to acknowledge and respond. I believe in this concept, because it makes sense, we are all souls on a spiritual journey and we all need guidance and which is provided by higher and noble souls who are also called Masters or spirit guides, it is also possible that we might have beeen in that role or we will be in that role. Guest guest
Shankaracharya, Ramanujacharya, and George Bush all appear before God at the same time. Bhagavan asks Shankaracharya, "So what do you believe?" The great acharya replied, "I believe You're the all-pervading Brahman!" Bhagavan says, "OK, come sit by My side." He then asks Ramanujacharya, "So what do you believe?" The great acharya replied, "I believe You're Narayan, the Supreme Person!" Bhagavan says, "OK, come sit by My other side." He then asks George Bush, "So what do you believe?" The great President replied, "I believe You're sitting in my chair!" Send instant messages to your online friends http://uk.messenger. Guest guest
everyone he meets. so just believe in your heart that the right person will come along and Lord Shiva will send him to you. I didn't know much about hinduism at the time, but was searching and found what I think is a very holy way of living my life and it is a healthy way also. I'm not a vegetarian, but am trying to become one, one day i will get there. I had a near death experience with an aorta anurysm and found hinduism is what i have been looking for all my life. India is my second home and this year when i go over i hope to talk to my guru about building me a home so i can spend at least 3 months out of the year in my beloved india. maniRichard Shaw Brown <rsbj66 > wrote: Yes, without a teacher education is difficult. Guest guest
A aorta anuryesm is a blood clot in the aorta. it is very serious as if it bursts it will kill you. they went in and made a by pass around the large clot and did a femoral by pass in my legs as well. it was a very serious operation and like i said they did not expect me to live. but i did and when I found hinduism it was like finding everything i always wanted. I love hinduism and all the dieties and gods and I love Lord Shiva. I know everyone knows that Monday is Lord Shiva day. That day I do my work but offer it up to Lord Shiva as a gift to him. I know he wants me to learn more and more about hindusim and that is why he sent me this site, so I could learn.
