Guest guest
Your aunt must have suffered considerably, as spinal problem has recurred, it has hit now available disc in the same area. Secondly, it is noteworthy for other patients that the surgical solution has neither given lasting solution, and whether it caused spinal TB, a question no one can answer. Despite problem being slightly different than sciatica problem, you may use some or all of the medicines mentioned at http://health.ayurveda/message/2829 since author found that the range of those medicines is wide for most of the spinal problems. Last statement in above message is most important, but holds only if you carry out treatment with full faith and patience. Traction helps only some, that too for only a short period, according to experience of some patients. For tingling and for inflamation, a possible solution is: Take five litres of hot water in a bucket. add a handful of sea salt and 20 gram epsom salt in water. Place a chair near bucket, dip both feet. Pour water over knees, so that water warms knees amd calf muscle. This improves blood circulation and mineras in water are absorbed by skin. this fomentation can be carried out for 30-40 minutes. This method has helped many patients, and some extended it further to take tub bath with sea salt and epsom salt added. Epsom salt is inexpensive, in India it costs just Rs 3/- per 20 gram packet. But do not recommend fomentation to people with diabetes. Even leafy vegetable soup (1 whistle in pressure cooker, grind in kitchen mixer if teeth lost) once a day will take care of tingling. but see that the type of vegetable is changed everyday. five-six vegetables can be periodically rotated. If you adopt any of these solutions, communicate your experience after a fortnight, so that we as a group, refine our experiences. dr bhate ayurveda, "scorprulz2003" <scorprulz2003 wrote: > 5 years back, she had severe back problem, slipped disc beween > spinal bones L-4 and L-5. > She had tingling sensation in her leg and severe pain. > Doctors suggested immediate surgery and so disc was removed. > > She felt better after that, but within the next one year, she > contacted spinal TB{Dorsal spine} > She took medication for the same, and she was relieved from it. > > Now since the last 2 years, she is suffering from slipped disc : > L-5 and S-1. > > she was on traction for 2 weeks , but now too if she stands > for sometime, she gets severe pain in the back and legs. > > Can u suggest some alternative treatment, other than surgery.
