Guest guest
Hello friends 1 lakh is simply 'One Hundred Thousand' in US terms. I'm glad Mr. Sysman has placed his horrifying experience on our table as a wake up call to help others watch their daily routines, what Ayurveda calls it SwasthaVritta. Rs 160,000 = ~ $3500 may not sound a lot for a person in US, and $21000 may look small for some one who compares the income & resources in US in general. Statistically, according to CDC, the average healthcare spending PER PERSON, PER YEAR in US - over $5000 India - around $5 China - around $4 You figure out the impact. The job is important and the money is always good. As long as you don't lose yourself in the process. Swasthya = good health = Swa + Stha = Self + Exist (placement) = keeping the Body-Mind-Senses-Spirit complex together, not separate. Where are they together when you don't breath, drink, eat, or sleep as needed or appropriate? "Dharmaartha KaamaMokshaanaam Aarogyam Mulamutthamam" (Sanskrit) Meaning: To do anything the human existence desires (usually grouped as 4 goals of life), Healthy Self is fundamental. I hope at least few will learn from his experience and adopt preventative Vritta.
