Guest guest
Areas which are designed to have an alkaline environment are put at risk when this environment becomes acid for whatever reason i.e. hiatus hernia and to some extent vice versa - but the digestive tract alternates doesn't it - mouth alkaline, stomach acid, duodenum alkaline and so on - so keeping the body fit so the environments stay where they are meant to be (with good diet, good living, etc) is the best prevention and cure - as you say. Is normal reading for blood not 7.4? I know when I test urine and it is higher than 6.5 infection is usually there - I would have thought ideal pH for urine would be 5 - 6 for optimal bladder health? Jane - Shirish Bhate It is well known that more acidic the blood, urine and saliva (pH lesser than 6.5) the chances of cancer aggravation increase. World over, alkalizing the blood using fruit/vegetable juices and chlorophil diets (wheat grass, barley grass) is being tried by alternative experts. It is said that blood pH should be better than 7.
