Guest guest Posted March 27, 2006 Report Share Posted March 27, 2006 Unfortunately I don't have more info - though I am sure google might - I vaguely remember that it killed a cow who ate a tonne (strange things memories) but when i did a herbal course the tutor mentioned that starseed oil (same family as borage & related to rapeseed) did have risks in large quantities but it never deterred me from growing or using comfrey - you can buy it here in ointment but not for oral use. Jane - Guru Khalsa Jane, Do you have morre information about the ban on comfrey? I used to make kitcheree and put in fresh comfrey leaves but stopped after I heard about the ban.
