I bought a book about this published in the US. I forget the name. The author

got the information from a professor who was a dentist at Rutgers U. The

professor claimed that a tooth could be regenerated through brushing the teeth

immediately after every time one ate, which is a very good idea although often

practical. He was called Dr. Toothbrush or something like that because he

carried a toothbrush in his shirt pocket all the time. He claimed that the

minerals in the saliva remineralized the teeth. He was also very much into

using fluoride treatments to remineralize the teeth. That's another story

though. I asked my dentist about this. He was very open about it although he

did not necessarily agree with it. He said that clacium and fluoride make up

the teeth but only fluoride can actually do it after the teeth form. He said

calcium is what makes the teeth hard so they would tend to be brittle. I'll

check that site out.
