Wearing one of my many different 'hats' I am also the Registrar of the

International Holistic Therapies Directories.

Over the years the Directories have become much respected - and it is

currently one of the largest healing and therapist directories on the

internet.

 

The statistics are:-

 

a.. 7600 healers/therapists with entries

b.. 112 countries represented

c.. 36 therapies listed

My thought for this day, however, is why are there so many healers and

therapists who are clearly not interested in making their services

known to the internet public?

 

Many of the healers and therapists listed in one or more of the

International Holistic Therapies Directories do not have their own web

site - and of those who actually do have their own web sites, very few

take any positive measures to make their web address known to a much

wider internet 'audience'............

 

As a web designer, I am always prepared to design a small web site,

for any healer or therapist, at a greatly reduced fee to that which

they would have to pay commercially. And even then very few

healers/therapists take up my offer.

 

I am not saying, either, that all healers/therapists should

automatically ask me to design their web sites. There are, I know,

other very competent - and spiritually-orientated - web designers

available.

 

I am very concerned that many healers and therapists, living in all

four corners of the world, are not taking advantage of the new

technology that allows them to market their services and products to a

much wider audience than has ever been the case in the past.

 

I would be very pleased to receive any ideas as to how healers and

therapists - on the internet - may become enlightened so that they

wake up and take advantage of all the help and advice freely on offer

to them.

 

It's in their best interests to do so!
