Dear Rakesh,

You make very good points and the caution should be exercised. Your point on

diet is very good too and should be noted. The suggestions posted to responses

on this group are just that: Suggestions.

There is a well-established notion/concept including when you join the group,

that this group is useful for finding knowledge sources, not replace a true

physician visit. It makes accessible information that is otherwise hard to

access for people that are not in the immediate vicinity and lkng for option, it

provides a starting place for those that dont' know what to do in terms of

ayurvedic usage or another resource to double check what they already know.

The group as such does not and IS NOT RESPONSIBLE LEGALLY at all for the

person's action. There's constant caution that you should see a real practioner

first, so please don't make this a legal issue and make this common-sense

practice.

This is a place to share opinions, knowledge, alternative source advice and

ability to leverage experience of healers here that are worldwide giving us an

immediate access to a terrific talent-pool.

Hope this stops your tears, and helps you understand that no one here claims to

be an online-physician to someone who's lkng for alternatives, just that we are

a support group for those in that search.

Warm Regards,

Prashant

Note added by moderator :- Thank you Prashant, the moderators could not have

said it better. I only wish to add one more point. Dr. Rakesh, ayurveda does not

fail by making people more aware or discussing ayurveda in its proper format, it

fails when websites like yours (http://www.ayurvedtoronto.com) depict vata as

air, pitta as fire and kapha as water. Content like this surely makes every

person who knows even a little of ayurveda cry buckets of kapha (read water).

> this is where Ayurveda fails

> Sometimes, i have seen very pathetic post it makes me cry, honestly.
