Guest guest
Dear Group Members, First, let me apologize for not reporting this earlier, it is just that this kind of incidence happened to me for the first time and I was not too sure about it. When I saw the mail "Exercise due caution " , then I immediately contacted the moderators and realized that - I am not the only one . That moment I decided that the group should be informed. Before going into details, I would like to make it very clear - that my objective here is only to share my experience with the group - not to pass any judgement and definitely not to start any debate. In the month of June last year, Dr. VenuGopal Rao posted a message where he mentioned about one particular medicine . I was immediately interested and sent him a personal mail asking him how can I buy the medicine online, I stay abroad in Tokyo , so I was looking for ways to get the medicine here. He replied me back saying that he often sends medicine abroad, so he can send the medicine from India and I will have to pay him some eleven thousand rupees (inluding the shipment ) via Western Union Money transfer. Once he receives the money he can send me the medicine within 10 days. In July, I sent him the cash via Western Union, he sent me a mail acknowledging the receipt. Then the story started, after 3 weeks , I started writing him mails asking for my medicine- there was no reply from his end. I was getting really tensed, I didn't have any ways to contact him other than by e-mail. Then, I realised that his mobile number was written at the end of the mail, I called him up. He told me - the medicines are all ready, he is busy that's why couldn't post it to me. And because his internet is not working, he couldn't send me a mail. This was in the 3rd week of August. This went on for a few weeks, I used to call him every week and he would always tell me - medicines are absolutely ready. After three phone calls like this - his next story was - it is raining heavily in India , that's why he was not getting the herb necessary to prepare the medicine. Just imagine my frustration. This was the end of September and I was really worried, after that I started calling him twice a week. Then in the middle of October he told me - the medicines are ready but he does not know how to send it abroad - contrary to what he told me in the beginning. Anyway, at this point all I cared was - I have paid the money and I must receive the medicine. So, I sent him my India address (Calcutta) - after that also I had to make two more phone calls before my family in India finally received the medicine which was in November. It was a very frustrating experience for me. Anyway, though all my family and friends warned me not to take the medicine, basically, they felt that I shouldn't trust somebody like him, I decided to give it a try for a month and then stop. I have been using the medicine for the last one month and though I am not an expert, but I think it's quite ok, quality wise. He gave me a number of sleepless nights and I am not the only one.
