Guest guest
Dear Vipin, I spoke with a Gynecologist colleague of mine. She said---Patients with Bacterial vaginitis manifest this typical manifestation of "odor". It is usually not a total body odor, but a specific vaginal odor. It has something to do with the ph of the vaginal fluid, which worsens during the " period ", and the odor during or after an intercourse, is because of the excess secretion of vaginal fluid during such an activity. Your patient needs to be treated with Flagyl, for a week. Get the patient to see a proper Gynecologist, and her husband ( if she is married, or the significant other ) should also be treated for any sexually transmitted infection, should he also suffer from her infection. Sometimes the spouse keeps re-infecting the wife, if he is not simultaneously treated !!! The proper thing to do is to culture the vaginal fluid, and treat with appropriate antibiotic, and there may be quite a few others available, should she not have access to Flagyl, or if she is allergic to it. If you have any reservations about taking antibiotics, the esteemed panel here may be able to help you with non-antibiotic therapy, but the antibiotic, and Flagyl in particular, should be able to treat fairly rapidly. It could be Gonorrhea if accompanied by any secretion/oozing that causes a lot of odor in glands that could get irritated by intercourse.. vipin wrote: sir i read dr.durgesh mankikar carefully. for my patient the bad odour occurs only after intercourse and nearly 5 days before m/cycle. pl explain why this happens after sex. it it is due to any chemical/medicine, then it should be there all the time. Guest guest
sir, i do think that there is no problem in the bad odour as such its dangerous but the main thing is that it can be easily cured by using haldi and neem leaves paste and kept in the vaginal part its also to be noted that the the patient is not constipated and the stomach is all right. see the patients appetite sleep, bowel and urination durgesh mankikar <d_mankikar wrote: It has something to do with the ph of the vaginal fluid, which worsens during the " period ", and the odor during or after an intercourse, is because of the excess secretion of vaginal fluid during such an activity. Guest guest
Group, I don't know whats going here, everyone is giving ideas to treating bad odor, one says go to gynec, other says haldi n neem...... Come on, Grow up guys, both of the husband n wife needs to go to a good Ayurvedic Doctor, get done pulse check and stricly follow diet. This is due to poor metabolism. What gynec will do into this problem? She definately has other health problems besides this. Without knowing full health history, u guys r going to treat her, and giving all suggestions.... this is where Ayurveda fails Sometimes, i have seen very pathetic post it makes me cry, honestly. I m constantly reviewing all the post here since last 2-3 monghs. Without knowing full history of the person / patient, how could u suggest something, u know what it can really go against u LEGALLY. Untill now (Dr)Teji has only talked proper about diet n ayurvedic medicine in one very last post about 2 months ago. What i mean is that no one talks about DIET here.... Without DIET its impossible to treat any disease. In Ayurveda, Medicine comes second. Anti-biotics is never a cure for any disease, its Anti-Biotic means Anti- Terrorism, means againts LIFE. Mr. Jagannath Chatterjee is doing amazing work, wish who could/should be in our team. We practice here in Canada, if someone refuse to follow a diet, we simply show them a door... thats it... bottom line. Rakesh R. Guest guest
It is important to know that both a good Gynecologist as well as a good Ayurvedic Vaidya always take a full history. Let us not caste undue aspersions on each other's specialty. What the post says is of course follow the Ayurvedic regimen, and if that does not work, then follow the antibiotic. The idea is to correct the situation, and cure the patient, and not debate the " rightness" of one or the other system of medicine.
