Dear Group members,

You will all agree with me that while the internet has opened up a

lot of oputunities which were not available before, it also has

given rise to new types of cheating.

Many of you are benefitting from the "free" advice provided by

various experts on this group.

That was and is the main objective of the group. That people should

get various viewpoints and especially that of ayurveda.

However some supposedly responsible persons have also used the group

as hunting ground for their own practise.

While the moderators do not have any problem if any group member

chooses to consult other group member offline & having placed a

disclaimer are not responsible for any offline tranctions done by

group members they feel it their duty to warn members to exercise

due caution.

It has been bought to the notice of group moderators that some group

members who have asked for personal details to be sent to their

personal email address and having taken money for sending medicines

have not done so. There maybe various reasons why this must have

happened but we request group members to take all the caution they

would before making any other monetary transaction.

Moderators try their best to prevent spam and unsolicited mail from

reaching group message board but they have no control over other

group policy of .

Please enquire a 100 times before making any sort of monetary

transactions. While at this point of time the moderator do not

consider it proper to expose the name of the group member against

whom a complant has been received, we will be forced to either ban

or disallow posting of messages by the said member till the issue is

resolved. Moderators are writing this on the group message board as

the member on being contacted had accepted the fact that there was a

delay from his side to send the medicines and that he would send

them at the earliest. This was in November/December 2005. The group

member who had sent the money has not received the medicines yet.

We appeal all other group members who might be considering private

monetary transactions to be more careful.

Cybervaidya.
