Ayurveda and mental health

Good evening, friends,

 

This morning I saw a common but pitiful sight outside

a neighborhood grocery store. A homeless woman was

shouting - maybe at the store clerks, maybe at someone

we couldn't see. The store clerks, however, were

getting upset and threatened to call the police.

 

I've spoken with this woman before; I believe her to

be schizophrenic and off her meds. She's dirty and

disheveled, and obviously sleeping on the streets.

SHe's refused food help from me before, so I have no

reason to think she'd accept any other form of

assistance ... but I can't help but wonder what

ayurveda can do to help these folks.
