Guest guest
Hello, Depending on what kind of headache will determine the treatment. A quick remedy I use sometimes is a 1/2 drop of peppermint essential oil gently rubbed on my temple area.. it provides temporary relief. - Be very careful not to get it near the eyes or mucous membranes. A good mental excersice is as follows: In a quiet room, where you will not be disturbed, sit in a chair with your hands in your lap. Relax. Close your eyes, and take 3 or 4 deep, but gentle breaths. Mentally picture your hands on your lap. Then listen for your heart beat. Don't do anything, just listen for a little while untill you really feel the rhythm. Now, continuing with eyes closed, feel your heart "pump" in your hands. Feel the warmth and tingling from the blood coming from your heart to your hands. Relax, and keep feeling your hands being warmed. - (you wil feel tingling sensation and warm hands - this is normal.) You have the ability to control the flow of blood in your body this way. Moving blood away from the brain toward the hands is a good way to ease headache. This method takes a little practice, but its certainly worth it for chronic sufferers of headaches. Same method can be used to accomplish many desirable effects... Wishing you good health. Guest guest
Dear Saurabhsvgs Headache is a symptom pointing to any of twenty different conditions, from constipation to barin tumor. Which quick medicine can be recommended? Only quick medicine you yourself you have pointed out. To obtain good discussion, you have to post your age, height, weight, life style, how long you have headache, time at which it occurs or randomly occurs, whether you use spects, watch TV, how much you sleep, what you eat(grains, vegetables, non-veg, fruits, juices etc, which region of country you live, whether you have regular bowel motions, can you describe the motions, do you practice yoga or exercises, if you had any psychological trauma in past, how much allopathy you have already tried etc. Second thing, if you visit the link http://health.ayurveda you will see a search window. If you type 'head ache' or 'migraine' you will get a list of at least thirty messages there, pointing out reasons and remedies for various different situations causing head ache. IF you can find out something applicable to your lifestyle, food, etc, then you can pick up discussion from that point onwards. The word "quick" in your post gives a clue to this author in guessing that your life style is "fast" and you are a young student. Stress of this life style produces various toxins, which your body may be unable to eliminate adequately if your water intake is less. Toxins circulating in blood give rise to head ache often. Constipation too is the bye product of stress. Tony has already given you some very good suggestion using no medicine. In the same spirit, try drinking 2-4 glasses (each 250 ml) of water early morning and go for a morning walk 1 km. at least. If you are sleeping under the fan or in A.C. room this is a must. Take a glass of freshly extracted fruit juice (diluted 1:1) at breakfast. If juicing not possible, eat fruit, which is a still better option, if you do not throw away fibre. THick skin and seeds, ofc urse you throw. Fibre will act like a broom and clean intestines rapidly. Both of these remedies dissolve constipation, toxins and stress. What is written above, did you read in the books?
