Guest guest Posted December 18, 2005 Report Share Posted December 18, 2005 Dear Aborizwan, As i have resided in kerala for 2 years i found every part of the kerala people use this padmukham boiled water in their daily usage for drinking. This water is called "Chudu vellam and Chukku vellam" Boiling water with different herbs for drinking has been a regular practice in kerala. Some parts of kerala they use pathumukam along with Usheera,Red sandel,Saribha etc. So as far as i concern there is no harm using padmukham for long time.
