Guest guest
My parents went to Urlikanchan near Pune and were quite happy with it. The facilities are clean and well-maintained. Its one of the oldest centers and very organic in nature... so its not very modernised/contemporary, rather its a simple place that focuses on its patients and curing them. They had terrific results. My mother had some knee problems and she was pretty much able to have 90% flexibility after 2 weeks there. My father saw improvements in his blood pressure/cholestero and they've kept up with some of the practices. There are other places that are more luxurious and geared towards NRIs. Among these are the centers in Jindal, near bangalore, Aatmasantulan village near Karla. There's now a LOT more places that very commercial in the backwaters of Kerala that have very international clientele, these places typically charge about $1000-2500 for your stay there inclusive of all elements. The smaller places like Urlikanchan charge maybe 10% of that. cheers, P. > I would like to find out if anyone knows about a good Yoga, Ayurveda and Naturopathy center in India near Bombay. > I am interested in some residential ayurveda/naturopathy center for upto two weeks for the treatment of FMS like symptoms. Guest guest
Hello, Thank you for the pointer. I am looking for something like this, the traditional way. Could you please help in understanding the kind of treatment they do? 1. Is it pure ayurvedic treatment or combination of yoga and ayurveda? Or is it naturopathic only? 2. Do they offer things like Pancha Karma etc? 3. Could you please give details on how to get Urlikanchan from Pune? 4. Do they have any phone number to contact? Thank you, venkat ayurveda, p s <tightbrwn76> wrote: > > My parents went to Urlikanchan near Pune and were quite happy with it. The facilities are clean and well-maintained.
