Guest guest
Another wonderful and tremendously educative article. Please, please go to the website indicated and take a printout of the article to read in full. I would like to ask a simple question. Why are entire nations becoming psychotic? Is it only stress? Did not our ancestors face stress too? We are in fact just sitting on the world's largest scam and not recognising it. It pays to ask questions. A colleague of mine recently found out when I handed him a list of side effects for the medicine which was being given to his son for a mild case of epilepsy. When he went and showed it to his doctor he was hopping mad and retaliated with the now standard comment, "Today even water has side effects." But after the good doc cooled down he prescribed two detoxificants so that the body could better cope with the chemical. So don't be afraid to ask questions. Guest guest
This was an eye opener for me,as I am on a mood stabilizer as well as zyprexa, and I gained 70 lbs on it in a very short space of time. I have to say though I do sleep like a baby, and am not suffering from any other side effects yet and have been on it for 18 months. The doctor is dabbling right now on the assumtion that I have a little bi-polar not a lot if that makes any sense. I felt 1000% better as soon as I went off my hormone replacement therapy, which was right around the same time I was put on the mood stabilizer ( Topamax). So I am a bit curious over that. Thank you so much for that article. Guest guest
Dear Bonnie, I too was on anti depressants (Citalopram, Clonazepam) and I put on a lot of weight. My doctor said not to worry but I developed an ischaemic heart which is caused due to fat clogging the main arteries of the heart. I don't mean to alarm you. Don't go off anti depressants suddenly. Do it under medical supervision if you feel like it. Long term intake of anti depressants leads to early symptoms of bi polar disorder and mood swings. Nowadays I take Valerian when I feel awkward, have mood swings or loose sleep. It is available as "Tagara" from Himalaya Ayurved. I have heard people use St Johns Wort in the West. I also use Ashwagandha Capsules if I get panic attacks. My ayurved has advised me these two based upon my constitution. The medications I take are as and when required.
