Guest guest
Hi, I took interest in what you mentioned about the herbal medicine that you took when you were a boy due to your chronic colds and cough. My two sons ages 18 and 12 has the same condition as you. They have cough and colds always, almost all year round.I think they have been immune to the medicines that they have been taking ever since that it don't take effect anymore to them. We're in the Philippines and I don't think I'm going to get that medicine here by that name. Can you gave the English name of Pankaj Kasthari or what kind of herb is this? Where can I get that medicine? Thanks! Marie > I was in search of an alternative and found Pankaj Kasthuri which > is a dry powder. I took one spoonful with a cup of milk twice > a day. Guest guest
Mary, It is not a herb but a herbal preparation. You can search at any herbal store. You could also go in for the following preparations; 1. Asthmakure. 2. Septilin of Himalaya Ayurved. 3. Dr Honey of Baidyanath. (For acute conditions) 4. Chavanaprash. I hope someone on this list will guide you better. Guest guest
Irene, Nowadays many people are not able to tolerate milk. This is unfortunate because milk is a very nutritious food. Milk intolerance may be due to many reasons one of them may be adulteration or the use of steroids to increase milk production in cattle. My doctor advised me to take the powder with milk. Asthma patients are advised to drink water diluted milk because milk may cause flatulence which compounds the breathing problem. PANKAJA KASTHURI Most of the Ayurveda and Modern medical shops in India are available. Some asian countreis as well. I am not sure it's available there. send a mail to webmaster they could send you the medicine if it's not available in your place. : Hi, Can you gave the English name of Pankaj Kasthari or what kind of herb is this?
