Guest guest
Dear Mr.Kashyap & Mr.Noel, Thanks for the comment on my article on Ayurveda - The third Dimension to Cancer Therapy ! Yes I do agree there is a possibility for trying for Ayurveda in certain cases of Cancers, but at the same time we need to keep ourselves away from those who claim that these combinations of herbs (Nukhse) can cure any type of cancer with guarentee ?? All types of Cancer Khatam !!! There are incidences that some of the so called self made Vaidyas are doing these kind of things in various pockets which are leading to bad name & fame to the Ayurveda ! Mr. Noel the incidence which you might have read may be unique one & of genuine authority in Ayurveda ! With warm regards, Dr.Aashish Phadke,M.D.(Ayurved)(Mumbai) ayurveda wrote: Kashyap Mhaisekar Re: Ayurveda - A third Dimension to Cancer Therapy ! Dr. Phadke, You mention that auyrveda too has its limits. What do you think are the chances of saving a patient from AutoImmuno diseases like Severe Aplastic Anemia? Have u come across such patients? "Noel" RE: Ayurveda - A third Dimension to Cancer Therapy ! On the other hand I was watching a documentary on TV about two years ago where a Tibetan Monk had claimed he could cure Cancer with Herbs. He came to San Francisco and took on 5 stage four Cancer patients. He gave them all herbal formulas and told them no caffeine or alcohol. Four of them started to get well. The one that wasn't, didn't think a one glass of wine at night and one cup of coffee in the morning would make a different. After the Monk refuse to treat her; she begged him and assured him that she would stop; and she started to get better. This just shows you that it doesn't take much to stop a speeding train! Guest guest
To all suffering from some form of cancer: Please see an old post on ayurveda: http://health.ayurveda/message/3623 It is indeed fortunate that Indian Vaidyas working in a Govt Hospital set up or Villages have developed several medicines termed "Panch Gavya" class in Ayurvedic settings. The research on such medicines and herbs has been carried out in laboratories coming under Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, a Government body. While it may be said that cancers are difficult to cure when metastasis has occured and certain types are more difficult than other types, the experience of Dr Virendra Jain (referred in above post) supports that all types can be cured, but not necessarily in all cases. As Noel suggested, Karmic effects override medicine power. There have been cases where idenitical staging, constitution type and medicine gave different results because one patient was optimistic and other pessimistic. Whether one calls this "body-mind effect" or "Karmic effects" remains a subject to discuss and argue. This can be said to be true for all branches of medicine. Certainly, Ayurveda has something to offer for "cancer" despite whether it is coming from an MD(Ayu) or Vaidya. The patient should study whether the medicine offered is supported in ancient texts, clinical experience and are there patients cured or life quality improved. If you are paying money for services/medicine, every patient has right to seek such info. Guest guest
Dear Dr. Aashish, You still have not answered my request. Do you think Aplastic Anemia could be cured using Ayurveda? I am not asking this question as a response to your mail. My very dear one is suffering with this disease and the doc says that the hopes are very low. I wanted to try out alternative therapies. Hence this question. Please do reply.
