Guest guest
Dear Brijesh, There is no standard format as such. In fact the day is celebrated by different communities for different reasons. It is commonly known as the starting day of the Deepavali festival. It is believed that Dhanvantari arose from the Saagar Manthan on this day holding forth the amrut-kumbh (jar of nectar). There is no standard Dhanvantari Puja and very often is similar to Vishnu Puja as Dhanvantari is also beleived to be an avtar of Vishnu. For more details on the same you would have to contact a good pujari :-> What I have been suggesting to group members for the past 2-3 years is to send a greeting using one of the Dhanvantari photos stored in the Photos section wishing your near and dear ones a healthy and happy new year.
