Guest guest
Dear All Members, Namaskar ! Let me wish all our members a belated Dasara Greetings ! The point mentioned by Shri Jagannathji is well said ! Even Dr.Durgesh has also mentined vital suggestion on the same.Indeed its a good thought ! We need to educate masses on basic level personal hygine, principles of Sadvritta(Code of conduct),Dinacharya,Ritucharya (Daily/ seasonal reginmen).About simple & safe , non complicated or non advanced textual formulations but on simple home remedies & their vital uses on various minor disorders. Keeping these points in mind we have formulated different courses in Ayurveda for lay men. There is - Basic O level online course in Orientation to Ayurveda & Home Remedies for Self Health Management & Good Lifestyle Techniques. Those who are interested in this course may kindly contact me on my mail address as below - ayurinstitute This course is conducted under ages of Ayurinstitute- Institute of Ayurveda & Panchakarma Therapy,Navi Mumbai & Ayurvision Medical Research Foundation,Navi Mumbai,INDIA We conduct this course as online course. We send modules at specific interwals & also send a tutorials as well to check whether student has grasped that topic or not. For medical professionals we have specialised & little advanced courses, like Course on Ayurvedic Pharmacology Ayurvedic Pharmaceutics Ayurvedic Cosmetology Ayurvedic Dietetics Also we conduct course on Ayurvedic Cooking ! One may visit our website for other details www.ayurvision.com I would suggest another suggestion. Shall we take one topic at a time , say Fever , & let everyone from the speciofic branch post info on that, say from Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Accupressure, Homeopathy, Accupuncture ,Reflexology & also from Allopathy as well.I do not expect a long paras of iinfo which we otherwise can read in texts , but something like what is the philosophy to treat , or to look at that problem thro' different pathys ! I think it will be excellant compilation /collection ! Please correct me if I am stating wrong ! Thanking you, With warm regards, Dr.Aashish Phadke M.D.(Ayurved)(Mumbai) Message: 1 Wed, 12 Oct 2005 21:08:10 -0700 (PDT) durgesh mankikar Re: short term Ayurveda courses Dear Jagannath, Personal health is of primary importance, whether you are allowed to practice on a wider audience or not. If your stated goal is to educate a wide number of people, I suggest that you get hold of a few Vaidyas in your local area, and start a course for Housewives, at a modest fee
