Guest guest
Respected Vaidyas, Namaskar. I seek an answer to a question that puzzles me and I'm sure many others on this list and outside of it. We have been approaching doctors and receive answers that fever/cough/cold/head ache/loose motions, and many other unexplainable illnesses, are due to viral infection. But we regularly observe that diseases are routinely cured by ayurveds without attacking viruses. Moreover, is there any cure in ayurveda as a substititue to heavy drug doses of modern science, against the side effects of vaccines? The following articles demand such answers. Regards, Jagannath. --- Viral Infections What do we know? by Dr Patrick Quanten MD Viral infections are the illusive pain in the proverbial medical butt. Viruses get blamed for all ill in the world, especially when we haven't found anything specific. All illnesses which have a cluster appearance without identification of a bacterial cause, have to be of a viral nature, almost per definition. The implications of such a definite "diagnosis" have far reaching consequences as there is no specific treatment for viral infections, which makes us feel helpless and defenceless. As identification of viruses as the cause of illness is extremely difficult and almost haphazard it allows for media manipulation as we see in the AIDS saga, where first there was the HIV-virus, then there were three, and now we know that none of them is directly responsible for the AIDS-syndrome. Maybe if we understood a little more about viruses there would be less need to panic; unless of course the Authorities like us to panic because it sells more products and provide a significant number of jobs. What have we learnt, or should have learnt, from our contact with viruses so far — which of course is the whole time of human existence. full article can be read at; http://freespace.virgin.net/ahcare.qua/literature/medical/viralinfections.html ----------------------- Here is another article that specifies that there is no such thing as a Hepatitis C virus; www.newmediaexplorer.org/sepp/2003/07/05/hepatitis_c_epidemic_where_i s_the_virus.htm July 05, 2003 Hepatitis C epidemic - where is the virus? ...it appears that for hepatitis C, just as for AIDS, no virus has been isolated, at least not one that could plausibly be the cause of the disease. Some say the virus does not exist - hepatitis C has other causes. --- Then again... A Faulty Medical Model: The Germ Theory http://www.unhinderedliving.com/germtheory.html Most of the germs which enter our bodies from the outside are quickly killed by the immune system. But it is the microorganisms which live permanently in our bodies that cause us to get sick. And they cause sickness because we provide them with a rich growth medium so that they can mutate and transform themselves into deadly bacteria, fungus, and viruses. (This may explain why people do not fall sick despite being carriers) --------- And here is the research paper that advocates vaccination for at least 75 viruses. "Vaccine Development: Current Status and Future Needs," (October 2005) Prepared by James Kaper, Rino Rappuoli, and Merry Buckley available at: http://www.asm.org/Academy/index.asp?bid=38323 --------------- Whether we need such "protection" at all; http://www.vaccinationdebate.com/articles.html The key to strenthening our immune system lies not in creating immunological memory against specific antigens, for at all times, the body can recognise any antigen (foreign substance) through its innate intelligence. The key to strengthening our immune system lies in raising our vitality. "The body has its own methods of defense. These depend on the vitality of the body at the time. If it is vital enough, it will resist all infections; if it isn't vital enough, it won't, and you can't change the vitality of the body for the better by introducing poison of any kind into it."
