Guest guest
Dear Jagannath, Namaste to you too. You are unnecessarily antagonizing every thing that I say, without even knowing me. As a child I was raised on Homeopathy by my own faher, who had also studied other substances like the Dechane's oils, etc.. He asked me to pursue Modern medicine, as everything cannot be cured by Homeopathy either. Although I studied Medicine and practiced it for several years, I do know that this form does not cure everything either. I have studied Ayurveda and Accupuncture. Perhaps I should study Chinese Herbology to complete all medical sciences. My children were raised on both Homeopathy or Modern Medicine, depending on the acuteness of the problems. There are different needs and different treatments as the occasion / problem demands. I have also studied all the Upanishads, and practice meditation and yoga, and have no problem with the holistic approach either. You have unnecessarily taken me on, because of your bias against Modern medicine, which I do understand. There is no need to lecture me on the principles of this or other traditional medical or para medical phiolosophies. I may voice strongly my opinion, but there may be many others like me in these 1800 members, who get turned off by your constant tirade. This forum should be for mutual learning and not for throwing vitriolic barbs. The fact that you buy your own books, is commendable, so do most of us, and has nothing to do with either Ayurveda or this column. ayurveda wrote: Jagannath Chatterjee Re: Ayurveda is also Allopathy, unlike Homeopathy ????? Dear Dr Durgesh, I also admit that this is an ayurvedic forum. This forum is meant to encourage ayurveda, value the comments of the ayurveds, provide direction to the ayurvedic students and last BUT NOT THE LEAST, cater to the queries of the patients. Unfortunately you like none of these. ... ...
Guest guest
Dear Sirs, This is not a place for drama; it is a place for us to learn and share our knowledge about Ayurveda. If you have personal issues, this forum is not the proper arena to express them. Please send personal emails to one another if you have an argument. Throwing around your negative comments to each other only serve to vitiate the minds of we readers unnecessarily. Thank you. ayurveda, durgesh mankikar <d_mankikar> wrote: > Dear Jagannath, > Namaste to you too. > > You are unnecessarily antagonizing every thing that I say, without even knowing me. >
Guest guest
Dear Dr Durgesh, Thank you for your mail. It does not please me to oppose you. I do know you. I know that your family is well respected in New Jersey and that you like entertaining people by inviting Indians over to your house by holding various cultural programmes. You are also on the board of various organisations who value your opinion. I appreciate your efforts and sincerely hope and pray to God that you prosper in all respects. Please convey my regards to Madam Mankikar and the rest of your family. I'm not as bad a person as my mails make me to be. Being an activist and fighting the system is not easy, it will make the best of persons very bitter. Respect & Regards, Jagannath. ayurveda, durgesh mankikar <d_mankikar> wrote: > Dear Jagannath, > Namaste to you too.
