Guest guest
For information of members of this list. MIND OVER CANCER CONFERENCE: 15 & 16 October 2005 A TWO-DAY CONFERENCE FOR PATIENTS AND PRACTITIONERS ORGANIZED BY WHAT DOCTORS DON'T TELL YOU Keynote speakers: Dr Ruth Bolletino, Dr John Diamond, Lothar Hirneise, Dr Patrick Kingsley, Lynne McTaggart, Klaus Pertl, Christine Reulbach, Frank Wiewal ************************************* Ever since Norman Cousins famously laughed away his ankylosing spondylitis by watching Laurel & Hardy films, the interest in the way our minds can affect illness has grown. Today thousands of patients all across the globe survive cancer - without drugs, surgery or radiotherapy. Many of these have benefited from a range of therapies that concentrate on the mind and the emotions, and which don't even attempt to kill the tumour. The best of these - the ones that have a solid track record of success - will be exhaustively reviewed and explained at the MIND OVER CANCER conference, Royal Institution of Great Britain, Faraday Lecture Theatre, 21 Albermarle Street, London on 15th & 16th October 2005. Click here for more information http://www.wddty.co.uk/conference_info.asp >From Germany, you'll hear about the Synergetik system, which has been adopted by many practitioners there. It makes use of meditative states to help the patient get in touch with the situations in his or her life that are making him ill. Also from Germany comes the Hamer theory of conflict. For Dr Ryke Geerd Hamer and his followers, cancer is a response to an unresolved conflict or emotional hurt, and it is the body's way of dealing with it. It's controversial, but the theory has been put into practice thousands of times now, and with incredible results. Hamer and his theory cannot be ignored. No mind-body conference would be complete without a review of the LeShan method, developed by Dr Lawrence LeShan in the USA. Dr Ruth Bolletino, Dr LeShan's close colleague, and a former cancer patient who was helped by his methods, will explain his theories, and how they are used in practice. You'll also be introduced to the extraordinary work of Dr John Diamond, a qualified psychiatrist who has worked with cancer patients, but who now describes himself as a holistic therapist. He is one of the foremost pioneers in the field of mind-body medicine and health, and is responsible for the development of applied kinesiology, and the way our thoughts affect our body. For a complete list of speakers and to book your tickets http://www.wddty.co.uk/conference_info.asp What you will learn in two intensive, insightful and inspiring days: ** Meditation techniques for harnessing the power of your mind ** Understanding the underlying, and deep-seated, causes of some cancers ** How visualization and guided intention can be powerful allies ** Understanding your emotions and the role they can play as cancer fighters ** The secrets of 'spontaneous remission' and the lessons they teach us ** The stresses that can lead to cancer, and how to 'switch off' those same stressors ** How to take responsibility for your emotions, and so begin the road to wellness ** Detoxing the mind, and the body, as a necessary first step For more information about the programme over these two days, click here http://www.wddty.co.uk/conference_info.asp Bhanu
Guest guest
Dear Bhanutikare ji, Namaste. Thank you for this information. I would like to share a bad news in this context. The father of a colleague of mine was diagnosed as suffering from cancer a few months ago. I advised him to go in for ayurvedic treatment. However at Gangtok in Sikkim, ayurveda is not readily available and so my friend instead opted for Tibbetan ayurveda. I later got the news that the patient was recovering. However "well wishers" of my colleague exhorted him to go in for modern treatment to "root out" what was left of the cancer. My colleague did not even inform me and went to Kolkata to avail of surgery and subsequent chemotherapy and radiation. The doctors were very hopeful of a complete cure and after discharge the patient was taken back to Gangtok where he expired seven days later. Despite such "cures" there was a news item a few days back about how nanotechnology would help fight cancer. "We have the ability now to carpet bomb the entire body to totally get rid of all cancer cells, " a doctor boasted. God help us from these "carpet bombers".
