Guest guest
Dear Group members, 4 years ago as I was surfing the net for some information on ayurveda, I realised that that there was pretty meagre information other than the standard stuff about three doshas and it being a holistic science etc. Out of the blue I decided to form a group on ayurveda to address this concern and I must say that it has done very well in these 4 years. However since a year and half I began to feel that all this information present in group archives should be presented in a web-site format. This will not only avoid repitition but also act as a reliable resource of information on ayurveda considering that we have many esteemed personalities in ayurveda on our group. For the past one and half year I have been procastinating on this idea. However the messages in the past few days made me realise that it needs to be done fast. Hence taking the oppurtunity of today being the same auspicious occasion as that of the launch of the group (Actually I did not realise it till reading Dr. Bhate's superb review of the group) I have launched the above mentioned group website - http://www.geocities.com/cybervaidya/ As I mentioned before I would not like it to be a run of the mill website, hence your suggestions and more over your contribution is greatly expected. Please mail them to the message board or to cybervaidya May the Lord Ganesha bless us all. Cybervaidya

Guest guest
Over the past few years we have been gradually developing our site to offer more free sharing of information with vaidyas and the public. you might like to see this - it is interactive with vaidyas writing articles, blogs, forums - its all free and all are donating their time and wisdom. [there is a little bit of commercial enterprise to pay our bills but the majority of the site is free information sharing] All are welcome to participate, and it may give you ideas for your site. http://ayurvedahc.com We also just launched http://ishtaa.org for conversations on the spiritual, holistic, and ethical aspects of ayurveda. Hope this helps.
Guest guest
Ayurveda is based upon the samkhya philosophy of Purusha and Prakriti. Therefore the all round effort to disseminate the knowledge of ayurveda is most welcome. Regards, Jagannath.
