Guest guest
Dear Friends, After joining this group, I went through the archives out of curiosity and with a desire to know more about ayurveda. I was rather shocked by some posts where people with an allopathic mindset attacked genuine ayurveds when they sought to help with the queries of the patients who posted their problems. They had nothing constructive to offer but sought to deride others with their "modern" knowledge. My posts were a humble pointer to the fact that "modern" knowledge was not always better than genuine knowledge. I think Dr Bhate's recent posts are a milestone in the development process of this list. He may be writing a book but it is wonderfully magnanimous on his part to share his knowledge with us. Those with a penchant for allopathy should go through the Times of India of 1st Sept'05, where the Union Health Minister of India, Dr Ramadoss, an allopathic physician himself, has lamblasted an internationally famous science magazine for carrying a vindictive report against a popular alternative health care system. AYUSH, the Govt of India initiative to promote the cause of alternate medicine, is trying its best to restore the original glory of ayurveda. And they are thinking exactly in the line of Dr Bhate. Members are requested to be in synchronism with reality. is being unnecessarily dragged into this diatribe. He is a very sincere physician who explains what he says and has abundant expertise and experience behind him. He is always constructive and never destructive.
