Guest guest
dear uhohkittycat (did the cat knock the milk over?) your blood is probably too thick because of an imbalance of factors that promotes coagulation, namely, pro-coagulant factors such as thromboxane A2 these metabolites are produced as a result of inflammation, for example, when the blood vessels are damaged however, this pro-inflammatory state occurs when the body is deficient in anti-inflammatory compounds, namely, omega 3 fatty acids (think of inflammation as a yin-yang or agni/soma balance) omega 3 fatty acids achieve clinical results that are comparable to aspirin without actually killing platelets, which is what aspirin does basically, the omega 3 fats inhibit the excess inflammation that promotes thick blood despite Dr. Bhate's comments, i think you should not drink your own urine since you are pregnant (what trimester?) and may be experiencing some degree of urine stasis increased stasis means increased likelihood containing potentially harmful, infectious bacteria, which you should not ingest however, i am not an expert in auto-urine therapy, and neither practice it nor recommend in for my patients besides which, any benefit in drinking urine will not correct the underlying problem, but the EFAs will typical dose is 1000 mg of EPA and DHA daily - the latter is particular helpful in ensuring the healthy development of your baby's brain, eyes and nervous system, and should not be an optional nutrient to correct the sinus congestion, strictly avoid dairy, flour and sugar a simple tea such as P'au D'arco with mullein and ginger should be helpful, 2-3x/day its likely you have a system yeast infection, as most sinus infections are actually fungal in origin being pregnant increases your susceptibility to yeast remember too, that pregnant women often get sinus congestion because the influence of the maternal hormones tends to make mucus membranes more boggy and congested - neti, steam inhalations, and aromatherapy with eucaplytus etc can also be helpful - but the diet is key to reduce excess kapha todd caldecott On 25-Aug-05, at 5:40 AM, ayurveda wrote: > Message: 2 > Wed, 24 Aug 2005 17:19:30 -0000 > "Shirish Bhate" <shirishbhate > Re: pregnant and suffering nasal conjestion > > Best blood thinner (anti-coagulant, which can be taken anywhere on > earth, is diluted self urine. Guest guest
So do you not believe in the diagnosis I have- antiphospholipid syndrome? Or do you think it is the same to say that I have imbalance of factors that promote coagulation? It has been told to me that the disorder is similar to lupus, it's autoimmune. So I shouldn't start drinking my pee? What a relief! I was taking a vitamin with heavy omega 3's but my MD told me to take aspirin. I want this baby so bad and I'm in my 25 week so I am really trying to get all the best info so I can best treat this. Thanks so much for your help. Peace, Drisana > your blood is probably too thick because of an imbalance of factors > that promotes coagulation, namely, pro-coagulant factors such as > thromboxane A2........... > despite Dr. Bhate's comments, i think you should not drink your own urine since you are pregnant.........
