Guest guest
welcome Anthony Arjuna is truly a wonderful herb, certainly a 'hero' for our times however, the amount of coQ10 in Arjuna is negligible, and will not correct a statin-induced deficiency for a patient taking statins, 50-100 mg of coQ10 is absolutely necessary to prevent statin-induced myopathy/neuropathy better yet, get them off the statins and have them take arjuna and coQ10, as well as EFAs, magnesium and other important nutrients micronutrient deficiencies probably weren't all that common in ancient India because they have only occurred simultaneous with industrial agriculture - as a result traditional Ayurveda doesn't account for this, because it assumes that everyone is eating good, nutrient-rich foods, which is not the case anymore btw, boiling Arjuna bark in milk makes the cardioactive triterpenes more bioavailable best... todd caldecott On 25-Aug-05, at 5:40 AM, ayurveda wrote: > drugs have led to what I > find to be some interesting news that may benefit us all.
