Guest guest
Dear Sir, While appreciating the move by a section of the doctors to fight the corruption in their system,(Doctors join medical neglect fight, Aug 22), I would like to point out that not only medical neglect but also rightful medical procedures are to blame for the high incidence of iatrogenic diseases, or diseases caused by prescription drugs, treatment and apathy. What I am trying to say may be a little difficult to understand for the approximately 50% of the world's population who depend entirely on modern medicine and expect it to reform and one day come out with the magic wand to combat illness, whether it be chemical drugs, stem cell therapy or genetic manipulations. But sadly this will not happen as the basic premises of modern medicine are being increasingly questioned. First the germ theory. While Lois Pasteur is revered for his findings of germs and the vaccinations against them, what is left unsaid is his later admission that "it was not the germ that caused the disease but rather the environment in which it was found." He clearly referred to the weak immune system. Writes E. Douglas Hume, a lady who had to take on a male name to get her book published, in the book "Bechamp or Pasteur" published in 1932 and still in print, ""Had it not been for the mass selling of vaccines, Pasteur's germ theory of disease would have collapsed into obscurity." Today it has been proved that vaccinations and injections have caused many borderline diseases to reach epidemic proportions. This despite protests by the contemporary medical researchers who, at that time, were not swayed by the lure of profits, were open to the truth and were fearless in airing their "heretic" views."The most serious disorders may be provoked by the injection of living organisms into the blood...into a medium not intended for them may provoke redoubtable manifestations of the gravest morbid phenomena." declared Antoine Bechamp, a renowned French Professor and medical researcher and one of the many who experimented on and disputed Pasteur's postulates . Thus our "scientists" have willingly and knowingly led us to a mode of treatment, advocating suppression of symptoms and vaccinations, which severely compromised our immune system and led to various diseases euphemisticaly titled "lifestyle diseases" or attributed to various environmental pollutions and for which they advocate lifelong medication. We the gullible believe what they say and keep their coffers brimming. Today we are being treated for new diseases by those very people who caused them in the first place and whom the Government and the media hold in high esteem. The individual doctors in the field do not find the miracle results they have been promised during their medical education and in frustration resort to unethical practices. Had they found job satisfaction the rot would not have set in and we too would have been spared the medical massacre of the innocent patients that takes place in the name of science.
