Guest guest
Namaste, fellow travelers! I am chronologically 58, Vata Pita, very "under-weight", 13 yrs vegetarian residing in Vata-vitiating Las Vegas. Several months ago I posted regarding a "non-cancerous" lesion on my forehead. Since then I visited a dermatologist who took a sample of the spot. Lab report: non-malignant "basal cell carcinoma." I am scheduled for MOHS excision surgery this week. During the past six weeks I have made some changes to my intake. I take Dr. Bhate's wonderful warm milk and dates beverage almost daily and started shivambu (with a dash of haritaki). I also began drinking hinvastak takras, 3x daily between meals. These practices were targeted at weight-gain and improved absorption. Then, a friend suggested annointing the cancerous spot with a mixture of clove oil (I've been using clove tincture) and neem oil. I am seeing improvement in the lesion (smaller circumference and shallower indentation; no bleeding). Your conveyance of any relevant experience/input would be a blessing.
