Guest guest
Let us not promote nonsense, as science. I understand the bias of some of the authors here, but this is utterly not true. First of all, why did the woman need a Caesarian ? Was it fetal distress ? Or was it maternal size of the pelvis ( too small) ? Or was the fetus just too large for the given size of the pelvis, also called as Maternal-Fetal disproportion ? There are several women, who do come back for a second delivery, usually normal delivery, and are called as VBACs--Vaginal Birth after C-sec, some may need a repeat C-Sec, if the above scenarios repeat, or if the mother wants a planned C-Sec, as there are also problems associated like Uterine rupture along the previous C-Sec incision, etc ( a rarity). But Caesarians do not "ruin" fertility !!! Some more information on ceasarean cuts. http://www.telegraphindia.com/1050815/asp/knowhow/story_5104989.asp#1 Durgesh Mankikar,MD
