Guest guest
When I went to the cardiologist yesterday (he is from Madras), I asked him about ayurveda herb Arjuna and guggulu and why the yogis say not to do inverted postures if a person is hypertensive. He acted embarrassed and said he didn't know anything about the herb or if the guggulu works, then said that if the yogis said that about the inverted positions I should take their word for it. He is fairly young. I know the guggulu works for cholesterol; when I was taking it, I was able to get off the Lipitor and he just tested my blood, so I should get results from that soon and see if I should take more. What I am wanting to know, since he put me on an angiotensin receptor blocker and I am already taking a calcium channel blocker is will Arjuna have a bad interaction with either of these? I have been having small arrhythmias and want to fix them before the body decides they are permanent. Also, why the embarrassment?
