Guest guest
I would like to know the study undertaken to prove the statement with statistical data along with the details of the extraction process in which the many chemicals are allowed to pass through the process of extraction.I fear that wheather thease extracts can be called as natural specially when they are processed through the synthetic chemicals to extract certain known chemical compounds established on the basis of their maximum availability in the plant by chemists and not clinicians.Wheather the comparitive trial with the natural lant vis a vis extracts taken out with the help of different chemicals has ever been undertaken before claiming its efficacy and placing into the market. > Kavacha beej Extract (Mucuna pruriens seeds Ext ) and Gokshur ext > (tribullis terrestries Ext) both are scientifically proven to > increase the sperm count;

Guest guest
Dear brijesh, Krouncha pak is well known ayurvedic preparation in the form of avaleha ,Krounch beeej or kapikachu seed(Mucuna prurita ) is the key ingriedent in it.This is a favourate medicine of choice of many ayurvedic physicians.Major companies like Zandu,Ayurveda arkashala are manufacturing this mdicine.I prefer of Arkashala. Your friend just need to use these three medicines i mentioned for minimum of three months. And also avoid smoking, alcohol, spicy food,pickles..etc., Dr.Venu Gopal Rao.T M.D(Ayu) AGASTHYA AYURVEDIC CENTER > what is the first item you have mentioned krounch pak is it a herb. Guest guest
dear dr Venu gopal Krouncha pak is really a wonderful formulataion for increasing the sperm count. my below mentioned point may be consired by the ayurvedic practioners, according to dravya guna vidnyan the dose of the any herb recommended is 3 to 6 gms per day In Kavacha pak generic formulation the kavacha seeds are 30% and 60% is the sugar and 10% other ingredients hence the therapeutic dosage to be taken for therapeutic value becomes very high in case of kavacha pak .and hence the aqueous exctract of the Kavacha (6:1) 500mg gives the therapeutic dosage and the results are far better. In aqueous exctract only water is used for the exctraction and no chemicals are used the ayurvedic concepts of the herbs are intact. Preservatives are also not used in the dry exctract. The data base of herbal medicinal plants published by csir and other resarch papers on the mucuna pruriens gives the details of the experiments carried out which support the efficacy of the Kavacha as sex tonic and herb to increase the sperm count. The above opinions are expressed considering the pharmacological studies and also as a pharmacist by me. I do not have the doubt about the efficacy of the Generic formulation Kavacha Pak. But in case of Makardhwaj wati which is Rasayan kalp since it contains the mercury and Ghandhak, these mercury containing products are creating a problem from the Heavy metal point of view. If somebody is having the safety data on the Rasayan kalp kindly make it available to others. I have been analysing the bhasmas of various metals for last 7/8 years and have obsrved that since they are of mineral origin they contain very high limit of Heavy metals like Lead , arsenic and mercury. Many ayurvedic physicians do not consider this contamination but unfortunately no body gives the safety data on the same.By merely stating that the special processes carried out for manufacturing bhasma do not give the side effects is not suficient. In the international market the ayurveda is unnecessorily blamed on Heavy metals. I request if some body has the safety data on the ayurvedic bhasma please inform me.
