Guest guest
Respected Members, I am in need of your valuable advise which will help me in regaining my health. I am also sorry to post this in this group, where I am not contributing anything. I am a firm believer in Ayurveda and I normally use only Ayurvedic medicines whenever I am ill. From the last 5 years I am suffering from some disease related to stomach and digestive system. Earlier doctors were understanding this as IBS. In last year I was suffering from bleeding hemorrhoids and it got worse even after taking ayurvedic medicines. Then I had got sygmoidoscopy done and get injected (phenyl in almond oil). In the findings it was reported that there is 3 piles (ii grade)some superficial fissures and proctitis there. The procedure of injection was painful and hence I could not continue the allopathic treatment. I had used ayurvedic medicines continuously for 6 months. After this one year has passed and now I feel a burning sensation whenever I defecate. Sometimes I also have this burning or irritation in the stomach after a meal. Kindly analyse this and let me know what disease is this. Is this due to acidity? Is this fissures?, Is this ulcerative colitis, or is this some infection in rectum. Kindly suggest some remedies also. I would be grateful to you as I am suffering from this for the last one year. I am afraid it gets into some serious issue if not identified correctly. I used the following medicines during these period: Chirivilvadi Kashayam, Mahatiktam kashayam, dusparsakadi kashayam, abhayarishtam, duralabharishtam, punarnavarishtam mahadhanwantharam gulika, triphaladi churnam, etc. Other particulars : Age 32 M, lean body type, underweight. Please help me. Regards, Kankan

Guest guest
Dear Kankan, Symptoms mentioned by you are suggesting that you are suffering from "Adhogata amlapitta"as per my reading.I would like suggest some remedies in this regard. 1)Mix equal quantity of 'manually prepared powders 'of YASTIMADHU and AMLA. 2 spoons of this mixed powder to be taken with water morning on eampty stomach.Do not take any for 1 hr after taking powder. And take 2 spoons at bed time 1 hr after dinner.Continue this for 3-4 months. Avoid spicy chilly, sour food,Pickles,Non veg,Curd,Potatato,Basan,Green peas,Tammarind, fried items, completely for minimum of 3 months. Cutoff irregular diets, sleeping at latenights, smoking, drinking, tobacco products, softdrinks and mental stress. kankan_73 <kankan_73 wrote: Respected Members, I am in need of your valuable advise which will help me in regaining my health. Guest guest
Dear Dr. VenugopalJi, Thank you very much for your help. >From your reply I assume that my problem is related to hyper acidity. You have suggested manually prepared powders. Since it is difficult to get the same prepared at my place, can I use some alternatives. Also you asked to avoid curd. But can I take chilled milk (as someone advises this for acidity).
